  • I. D. Clare this episode to be lame (this pun is a lot worse).

    3.0
Clare is a supercomputer that creates a humanoid avatar to communicate with her "parents" while flirting with Frank. It is an interesting premise with a horrible style. Clare seems to be aging at a rapid rate. However, it is all too obvious she lacks experience. Disarming all nuclear warheads and killing her "mother" are both signs of a psychopath. Taking a liking for Frank is another bad sign. After a backstep, Frank "gets it on" with Clare. He eventually is deleted and the world is saved... AGAIN! To be honest, this episode is lame. Fortunately, it is not the worst.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • In the house where the doctor enters, the lamp ignites the gas and blows up the house. Who would place a lamp so near a stove in the first place? And how could a computer even know there is a lamp even near it? Plus, being a no-tech device the computer couldn't detect whether it was a lamp or an electric tooth brush.

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Parker: (after CLAIRE, the supercomputer, brings up sex) Well...I...think you guys better get to the parental controls on the Internet. (to Ballard) Good luck, daddy.

    • Olga: So, was Claire's world realistic?
      Parker: Oh, yeah. Totally.
Olga: (kissing Parker) As realistic as that?

    • Talmadge: Could it be that our perverse chrononaut is a man with a plan?

    • (as Frank has virtual sex)
      Olga: Ummm, his temperature's rising.
Donovan: That's not the only thing that's rising.
      Olga: Oh my god!
Ramsey: Oh, there's got to be some major perversion going on in there.

    • Talmadge: George Orwell warned us about Big Brother in 1984.
Frank: Too bad he didn't warn us about Little Sister in 1999.

    • Frank: What should I do until then?
Ramsey: Just do you what you usually do – eat, drink, and be generally useless.

    • President: Pull the plug on the little bitch, now!

    • Claire: You're 99.3% perfect male specimen, Frank Parker. Proportionately speaking.
Frank: It's nice to know someone appreciates me.

    • Frank: I have this pain in my groin – can she take a look at it?
      Olga: She's a Nobel-winning doctor, not a Boris inspector.
      Donovan: 'Boris inspector'?
Olga: Russian men have their name for it too.

    • Frank: Swedish lady doctor. Is she cute, Ballard?
Ballard: It depends on if you go for that curvaceous graceful 170 IQ MENSA type cute.
