Trivia: This episode addresses how Project Backstep never runs out of fuel from the aliens: the fuel regenerates itself, but it takes seven days to do so.
Frank knows where Backstep is located - why don't the terrorists get the information out of him using the truth serum in the first timeline?
Josef: And you can change anything – anything that happened in the last week? Frank: Yeah. Josef: Can you bring a person back from the dead? Frank: No. But I can make sure they don't die.
Josef: Where does it land? Frank: That's the thing, you never know. Olga: We're still working out the bugs.
Olga: Well, we learned how they tracked you down in the previous timeline. The x-rays show a tiny chip in the back of your head, right about here. Frank: What!? They low-jacked me?
Pretznef: How does this machine work? Frank: Well, when they say "engage," I engage. Pretznef: And me? Frank: And you? You can put your head between your legs and engage your sorry ass goodbye.
Rugoff: Why can you only go back seven days? Frank: Has to do with regeneration of the alien fuel, and its critical mass, and, uh, and I don't know, it's quite boring, really.
Frank: And why can't I go? Ramsey: Because you'll embarass everybody. Frank: When have I ever done that? Ramsey: L.A. Frank: Oh, c'mon, I was under cover. Ramsey: Parker, you jumped out of a cake with a stripper at a porn convention!
Frank: Thus far into the bowels of the land have we marched on without impediment. A ride, a ride, my kingdom for a ride. Frank refers to two parts of Shakespeare's Richard III, (Act V).
