Ruthie coming home, T-Bone becoming a legal adult, Jane not getting a divorce, Margaret revealing her past, Sam and David wanting to give their hamsters away, Sandy and Martin not getting married, and people finding out about Rev. Camden. All these exciting things, yet portrayed so unexcitingly. I loved seeing Mac again though. I don't think this episode was something that we'd all remember. I don't think it deserved a 5.0 from some people though. Margaret had a rough life, but I hope she does not burst out like that, I liked her better when she didn't talk as much. I still love the show. I just want to see more of what they did when all the Camden kids were there. I give this an 9.0 out of 10.

i really miss seeing eric being @ the pukpit once in a while... the last time was the second last episode last year.. i find when we does it grounds the episodes more
great episode... just consider giving us more of his insights and letting us see him once again preaching to the congregation. I feel that it gives us as the viewer a grounding and lets us know the writers haven\'t forgotten the roots of the program. I have found this season not as well thought out with the characters and story lines as in other years but hope it is all leading somewhere where we once again are grounded. I miss hearing him and/or Lucy tieing the spisodes together with the congregation with their sermons. So far it leaves me thinking the writers have forgotten what keeps this series going in my opinion.
This episode was actually pretty good. I did not like the fact that Sam and David wanted to give up their hamsters. I think that it made them look really irresponsible. I love T-Bone. Right now, him and Lucy are my favorite characters. Ruthie used to be when she was in middle school, but now she is just kind of selfish. And she had the nerve to call Eric selfish! I'm kind of glad that Martin and Sandy didn't get married because that would have just put an end to the storyline with them. I didn't really like Margaret and Jane in the beginning, but now I really like Margaret. Jane is kind of annoying because she can't keep her nose in her own business like when she called T-Bone’s mom. He clearly didn’t want her around. I almost laughed out loud when Jane announced to the Promenade that Eric wouldn’t be around much longer. This was a wonderful episode and I hope that they keep coming like this. (Next week’s episode looks really good especially Ruthie announcing that she is a Hi-jacker named Curly Top.)
I really enjoyed this episode of 7th Heaven. In fact, I have really been enjoying this season for the most part. I especially like the addition of the 3 young adults that have moved in with the Camden family. The acting seems to have improved with these additional people. Kevin still isn't very good at acting, but if you look that good it really doesn't matterÜ
This season seems to have added drama with Eric's health problems but also supplies humor with the new additons. I think the writers are doing a good job this year and I am pleasantly surprised.
I give this episode as well as this new season a "2 thumbs up".
There were definite improvements in this episode, but at the rate they are moving...it will be a decade from now before they return to their stage of perfection.
7th Heaven use to be a show i would wait to see every week...but not anymore.
Aside from the fact that it has strayed away from the original cast...it doesn't center around any main issue in society anymore. I could remember a time, where every 7th Heaven episode was based on a major issue in society.
What has happened to the show?!
And more importantly, what have they done to Ruthie's character???
Oh, how I welcomed Happy's scene in this episode! There she sat on the twins' bed, her pretty, white fur all in place; that cute, little "Happy" expression on her face! I immediately found myself drifting off into a daydream world, back to the good, old Camden days-- back to that first episode. Remember how much Simon wanted a dog? Boy, now, that was a good episode...
Yes, just like that one restorative bath product, that pup was there for me. But, instead of hearing, "Calgon, take me away!", I heard, "Happy, take me away!" Take me away from having to listen to Ruthie being a bratty daughter to a father who desparately needs her at his side. Take me away from Sandy and Martin pretending they are meant for each other. Take me away from Jane (especially Jane), divorcing, then, not divorcing. And, Margaret, not talking one minute, then, babbling out of control the next. And, T-Bone getting an instanteneous emancipation from his Vegas mom.
This installment of 7th Heaven was poor and tiresome-- just one conversation running into another, into another, and, yet, into another. Back and forth; forth and back. All this talk should lead somewhere, but there's never a destination. I'm left craving an epsiode that actually tells a story.
I usually tape the Camdens. Halfway through the epsiode, I realized my recorder wasn't working. I'm sad to say, I didn't much care. Brenda Hampton, are you running out of steam?
This episode was exceptionally disappointing. The promos sold this as an episode that would be Ruthie/Eric/Annie heavy and what did we get? I think 1 scene with Eric, 3 very brief ones with Annie and baically the rest of the show filled with these three who I used to like but now say get lost. Just give them their own "Three's Company"-esque spinoff show already. This is "7the Heaven" which is supposed to be focused on the Camdens not "The Replacements." There was hardly any storyline advancement and while I am a huge fan of the show, I also speak the truth. This whole episode felt like a waste of time for me as a viewer. I could have caught those few brief scenes with Ruthie, Eric and Annie on Youtube for crying out loud. This was pure filler. Utter disappointment. I officially question whether or not Hampton has any gas left in the tank or if it was worth continuing this show at such a reduced budget.
I would say next week's episode looks good but I said that about this week. Pull it together writers.
