Mrs. Bink: (About the Camden family) They're all nuts!

Eric: (about Annie's father) You know, honey, it's.....it's not unusual for a man who was once married to remarry quickly. They know the joy of being married, and they want to have that again. Annie: So you're saying you love me so much that if I die, you could be married again within six months? Thank you very much.

Ginger: I think we should take a break from each other for a while, you know? See how we feel in a few months. It's for the best, really. Charles: Everyone always says that. But it never is.

Matt: Great. Even with Mary in the hospital, Dad still finds a way to teach me a lesson. Simon: Well, you've kind of got to admire him for that.

Matt: (about Lucy's hair, trying to make her feel better) Yeah, um, I think it looks kind of, uh, kind of sexy. Lucy: Sexy? You think it looks sexy? Matt: Well, not, uh, sexy-sexy, but-- Lucy: Any sexy's okay!

Lucy: Mom, you have to help me. The color won't come out! Annie: It looks fine. Lucy: It doesn't look fine! You should have seen Jimmy's face when he saw it! Simon: You didn't do it for them or for Jimmy Moon. You did it for you! Lucy: I did it because YOU talked me into it! Simon: Oh yeah? Well, you were smart to listen, because it looks great. With blonde hair, you can be a whole new you. A you who doesn't care what other people think, a you who has more fun. Lucy: I'm not having any fun! Simon: Well, maybe that's because you're still in a brunette mindset!

Heather: I've never talked with my voice before, and I have no idea what it sounds like. Matt: Beautiful. It sounds beautiful.

Annie: (as Mary plays basketball from her wheelchair with her siblings) What aren't you telling me? Eric: The doctor doesn't know if she'll ever play basketball again. Annie: What does he know? She's playing right now!

Eric: I thought you said the surgery went fine. Doctor: The surgery isn't the problem. Eric: Ok, the surgery isn't the problem. So what's the problem? Doctor: Reverend Camden... Eric: WHAT? If there's something wrong with my daughter, why would you let her leave the hospital? Doctor: Okay, let's not get upset. Eric: No, let's. Just for once, let's. What's going on??

Mary: So what does this all mean then? Eric: I don't know, honey. No one knows. Mary: Well, I know! I know that this stupid accident is not going to change my life. It can't, it just can't! I won't let it! Dad, I thought it fixed everything. I thought the surgery fixed everything!

Mary: You've been a real jerk, Michael. And an apology and a teddy bear aren't going to change that!

Simon: (at restaurant run by deaf people) Hey, anybody want turtle soup? I know the sign for turtle. Lucy: Right. And what's the sign for soup? Matt: Order a hamburger like you usually do. Simon: And how am I supposed to do that? Matt: Point, brainiac!

Lucy: Everyone knows Jimmy and I broke up, so tomorrow's going to be the worst day of my life. And I don't even have a best friend or a big sister at home to talk about it with. Simon: I'm here. Talk to me. Lucy: You? This whole thing is your fault! Simon: I know. But no matter what color your hair is, you're still the same weepy, wacky, wonderful Lucy you've always been.

Jimmy: Call me when you've come to your senses. Lucy: Fine! In the meantime, I'll find somebody who likes me as a blonde. Jimmy: Good luck!

Jimmy: What happened to you? Lucy: My sister is in the hospital having surgery, and all you care about is my hair? UUUUUUUUGH!

Ruthie: Guess what? I have a big surprise for you. Annie: A big surprise like ferrets in the house, or a big surprise like a beautiful picture that you drew at school?

Annie: I hear Ginger's children weren't so thrilled about you. Charles: No, they weren't. Annie: Well, then, you should have had a pretty good idea how I would feel. Charles: Why? You're my daughter. You're my daughter, Annie, and I thought we raised you better than that. I've seen you be kinder to strangers, and more polite than you were to Ginger!

Annie: I asked you not to come, Dad! Charles: She's my granddaughter, Annie! My grandbaby! I love her. I know you blame me for the accident. Annie: I never said that. Charles: You didn't have to!

Annie: Mom died six months ago. And there are moments--most of them, in fact--when I still feel like it was yesterday! I don't see you for months, and when I do, you're with another woman. And then you bring that woman into Church! What were you trying to do? Charles: Be a part of the family again! A family's filled with faces that remind me of your mother's. I was hiding from... memories, Annie, nothing more. Ginger's been through all this already. I just wanted her support while I did it.

Annie: (about Mary) If she's not okay, I'll never forgive myself. Eric: It's not your fault, don't blame yourself. She'll be okay...she has to be okay.

Eric: Your hair looks nice, Luce. Lucy: Nice or sexy? Eric: Uh....nice. Definitely nice. If my 13-year-old daughter had sexy hair, I'd shave her head.

Charles: How'd the date go? Wilson: Not so great. Charles: Well, yesterday wasn't a great day for me, either. Today could stand to be a whole lot better, too. And there's always tomorrow. I may break into song any minute.

Mary: Stop thinking up an answer and tell me the truth. And remember, I live with Lucy and you're as bad a liar as she is.
