7th Heaven

Part 2 of a two-part installment dealing with domestic violence and abuse. At the end of part 1, Dick, Paris's new boyfriend, has threatened to abuse Peter and his dog should they get in Dick's way.



However, soon the Camdens are made aware of this situation and all are brought to Dr. Gibson, who exposes Dick for who he is.



This episode is important because it is not often that 7th Heaven tackles domestic violence and abuse. It is, however, a very common epidemic and I'm glad the show made light of it. Many women don't know at first that their new boyfriend or husband is an abuser.
