Simon persuades his parents to let him go to a party after they meet his friend; a senior who promises to look out after him-- but not everything goes so smoothly-- especially when he comes back home completely drunk, which puts his siblings in a terrible position on what do. Meanwhile, Matt gets mail from two medical schools that he applied to, but he's hesitant to open the letters, and the letters eventually end up with Ruthie. Lastly, Mary and Lucy take the same classes at an area college and Mary goes with Lucy and her friends to a bar.moreless

  • Simon wants to be part of the cool crowd; Camden kids look out for one another

    In this episode, Simon wants to go to a party put on by the cool kids. Annie is afraid to let him go, but Simon's friend gives her his word that he would watch Simon at the party. Simon does not want to drink alcohol so the cool kids, wanting to do a number on Simon, let him drink the punch, which of course, was spiked. Guess what happens to Simon? He ends up drunk.
    I liked this episode, but it was very predictable. I like that the siblings looked out for Simon and didn't want to get him in trouble. It's typical for them to look out for each other like that. I liked when they were in the bathroom, Annie was talking to Matt and Lucy & Mary kept incriminating themselves by speaking up.
    I don't really like how the show ended with Simon's friend coming back to tell Annie and Eric what happened. He claimed he couldn't go on because he promised Annie he would look out for Simon. I just don't buy that a guy like that would do that. It does show how well-respected Annie is and how she can garner that.moreless

    Simon gets drunk at a party and Matt, Mary, Lucy, and Ruthie try to hide it. Mary goes out with Lucy and her friends to find that Lucy's friends drink. Lucy chooses not to hang out with them anymore. Matt gets two letters. One from NYU and one from Columbia University. He is too scared to open them.

    This episode was hilarious! Simon acted so funny when he was drunk. I know it's morally and legally wrong, but I have to admit that I laughed really hard. I love how Morris came back and apologized to Mrs. Camden about Simon. Simon made a bad decision. Ruthie was great! She distracted her dad by wanting to talk about sex! I also loved when Matt, Mary, and Lucy were in the bathroom and Annie asks who's in there and Matt and Mary says that they are doing Matt's hair. Then Lucy talks and that was funny! I loved how Mary made the right decisions in this episode. First with Lucy's friends, and then with Simon. Also, I'm glad Matt got accepted into both schools! I loved this episode and it gets a 10!moreless

    In this episode of 7th Heaven things start to change in the family household. Simon goes to a party with an older student at his school. When the party gets a little crazy it ends with Simon coming home totally drunk. So his sibilings try to help him get better so he won't get introuble even though he does. While Matt gets letters from schools he applied to and gets to scared to open them. So Ruthie opens them for him and they find out he got a full ride and half ride to 2 different schools. The one he got the full ride to was the one that he really wanted to go to. So the main point of this episode is that Simon gets drunk!!!moreless

    This episode cracks me up. We learn that you can mix alcohol with punch and the people drinking it won't notice it is spiked. Even though Ruthie is only 11, she can give lectures and advice with wisdom beyond her years. We also learn that if you want to have a great time at a High School party, you should hang out in the backyard because that's where they keep the booze.moreless

    • Morris drops off Simon and parks on the right side of the road with the flow of traffic not against it as Simon is next to the curb. Then he states that his house is back there. But when he is walking up his driveway his approach is on the right side of his house . The only way this could be true was if Simon had to cross the street though it wasn't shown. If not the left side of his would be the only side he could have approached.

    • Lucy took summer classes already so how can Mary be in all of her class?

    • Eric and Annie were upstairs when Mary was with Simon in the bathroom so wouldn't they have heard Simon throwing up in the bathroom?

Matt: My... my hair. I hate my hair. Mary's good with hair. Lucy: Yeah. Mary: You think she's on to us?

    • Simon: (to Morris, slurring) I'm drunk? (to himself, slurring) Cool!

    • Simon: (to Eric) Oh, come on Dad. Help me out here. Annie: No Simon. No more help from your father. I didn't want you to go to this party, but I'm going to let you go, but only if your friend Morris tells me that he's going to watch out for you tonight. Morris: Sure, whatever. I'll keep an eye on him. Annie: Do I have your word? Morris: Yeah, you have my word. Annie: Good. Simon: Let's get out of here. Eric: Hey, be careful. Annie: (to Morris) Remember, I have your word. Simon: (to Eric and Annie) Oh, and don't put the whole family in the van to come and follow me to this party, ok? I'm gonna be fine.
