I'm debating whether or not I'll buy the 11th season if it comes. Maybe erase it from my head, lol.

I wonder if when they put out a "Complete Series" DVD, if they will put out a special one with only the first 10 seasons? Because, the 11th Season had some okay moments, but the 10th Season, particuliarly the finale, did SOOO much better a job of wrapping up the series the way it should have been.

I am sure that if they bring out entire package inculding all the seasons that they will be all 11 seasons. I think Roseanne brought out an entire package once all 9 seasons were on dvd. Many Roseanna fans prented that the last season did not happen or at least view it more as stand alone. If 7th heaven does this (brings out a set that has all 11 season) I would hope that they would inculde some extras, intreviews , behind the scenes. So far as far as I know they have not inculded any so far I only have seasons 1 - 5 I will eventually have all 11.

They probably wouldn't do a Complete Series set unless it was a really popular show that sells well. Shows like The Brady Bunch, Full House, Everybody Loves Raymond, Gilmore Girls, I Love Lucy, Friends, and Sex and the City all got the Complete Series treatment because sales were strong for all the individual season sets, and they knew they could profit from the new editions. A lot of people love 7th Heaven, including me, but I don't think it's enough for them to invest in making a full-series collection. I could be wrong, though. The fact that they've gotten all the way to Season 8 suggests that sales have improved for this show, so I guess you never know. If they released the seasons again with the original music and no edited scenes, I would totally buy it.

Either way, I'm very excited that Season 8 is coming so soon after Season 7. I really love the cover art for Season 8, too; it's one of my favorite pictures of the cast. I'm sorry to admit that I don't remember many episodes from that year, since that's when I stopped watching every single week, but I look forward to revisiting them.

You know, since Season 8 is set to come out in March, and Season 7 just came out in November, that means if they stay on course, Season 10 should be out in time for Christmas next year! So, if they do a "Complete Series" DVD set, it would probably be out at least by Christmas of 2010.

By the way, there used to be a thread on here that told where to buy DVD's online as they came out. Does anybody have that information?

    It's DVDs, with no apostraphe.

I can't wait to see how long until Season 9 comes out. Maybe by Christmas if we're lucky. Eight seasons down, three more to go. Either way I'm holding out for a complete series, since it happened with Gilmore Girls, Charmed, That '70 Show and probably a few others I don't know of.
