  • Loved it!

    10
Ruthie and T-Bone confess about their tattoos and we find out that Eric, Annie, Matt, Mary, Lucy, and Simon all have tattoos as well. I thought it was hilarious that we didn't know about all these, but I believe that tattoos are wrong and I don't think they look cool either. The part with Kevin giving Mac money was funny and seeing T-Bone's microscopic tattoo was humerous, but overall, I disagree with tattoos and similar things like piercings. It was a good episode though and very funny. I would have liked to see Martin, but oh well. Overall, I loved this episode and it gets a 10.moreless
  • An enjoyable, lighthearted episode.

    8.6
Who would have thought: a whole episode revolving around the revealing of tattos, but I thought it was done right and an enjoyable episode to watch. True to form, there is a lesson here which is that one should be careful about permanent tattos which proclaim one's feelings FOREVER, because feelings about someone dont necessarily last a life time.
  • A fine example of Crap! Why this show should be cancelled

    1.0
Still not impressed with this mediocre, over the hill, dumb show. How many problems can the rev solve? Beverly Mitchell is so annoying, who gave her acting lessons anyway? Who wants to wager that she wont get much work after this pathetic show is over. I would rather watch a stupid Lifetime movie then this show. Ooooooooooooooo Seventh heaven...

The mom, I can't remember her name is annoying. I wonder if her and Lucy are actually related in real life... Is that silly dog Happy still on there? He has probably died of old age or extreme bordem. Or else those weird twins killed it.moreless
  • I thought this episode was very bad. If it's supposed to be about a religious family, why do the kids not even know what is in the Bible? Why does everyone spy on each other?moreless

    2.5
I didn't like this episode at all. I thought it mocked religion - people say this is a good show about family values, but all they ever do is lie and spy on each other. I think people just watch it because it really is just a soap opera with all the "romantic" boyfriend/girlfriend stuff. The kids shouldn't be so scared of their parents - The parents shouldn't be so controlling. If Lucy is supposed to be a reverend, she should be more mature. She acts like a complete idiot, that nobody could respect at all. I didn't think the show was funny at all, I thought it was just stupid.moreless
  • Ruthie comes clean about her and T-Bone's tatoos.

    9.4
I must say, this was the funniest episode in a LONG time. I don't know why...oh wait, yes I do. Mr. and Mrs. Camden knowing that all their children got tatoos! What isn't funny about that. Then hearing them plot and scheme about how their silence has dictated their children's clothing for the past...I don't know how long. How awesome is that?!?

This was a good episode because everyone eventually caved in and told about Ruthie. I have to like Kevin's method. Pay off Mac, that is a great strategy. I think it was funny how everyone knew and wasn't telling anyone else they knew.

    Very funny episode.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • This episode contradicts the season one episode "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" where Eric and Annie are dead-set against their kids getting tattoos, yet in this episode, they reveal that they know their kids have tattoos, and also have tattoos themselves.

    • Eric and Annie each have a have a tattoo on their hip; Eric has a cross and Annie has a heart. Both Lucy and Ruthie have a tattoo on their lower backs; Lucy has a flower design, Ruthie has T-Bone's name and Ruthie's initials are tattooed on T-Bone's outer ankle.

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Ruthie: (searching the Bible for "forgiveness" passages to recite to her parents after they find out about her tattoo) Where is the good stuff when you need it?

    • T-Bone: (when Eric asks what's up between him and Ruthie) It's really kinda personal.
Eric: Yeah, yeah, that's how it felt when I kept seeing you kiss my daughter. It's really...kinda... personal.

    • Annie: (about Ruthie not coming forward to admit she did something wrong) Why can't Protestants confess? I mean, why do Catholics have to have franchises on that?

    • Margaret: (about the tattoo Ruthie got on her backside) You told her where to get it!
Jane: I didn't know she'd get what she got where she got it!

    • Annie: (testing Lucy about what she knows regarding Ruthie's tattoo) And, Lucy, thanks for always being you. You've always been such a good girl. (hugs Lucy) I love you.

    • Lucy: (realizing her parents know about her tattoo) What else do you know???
Mac: (grinning) This is better than I ever ... (gets serious) I'm sorry.
Annie: What else do we know? Well, we know that children often don't do what you tell them to do, or not to do.
Eric: And, we can't always keep you from making bad decisions.
Lucy: So, you just let us live with the guilt and the shame and the fear that you'd find out?!?
      Eric: Pretty much, yeah.

    • T-Bone: I love you.
Ruthie: Thanks, I love you, too.
      T-Bone: Really?
Ruthie: I have to. I have your name permanently engraved on my body.
      T-Bone: And, I have your--
Ruthie: (interrupting) My initials!... HIDDEN on your ankle.

    • Annie: (to Eric about knowing Matt, Mary, and Simon have secret tattoos) Yeah, maybe if they come home more often, we'll let them off the hook. (turning to the mirror with Eric to reveal their tattoos to one another other)

    • Kevin: Ruthie's pretty smart.
Lucy: Pretty smart? She has a tattoo that says "T-Bone!"
Kevin: (referring to Lucy's tattoo) Why is that worse than flowers across your butt?

    • David: (to Sam) If a cracker is the body of Christ, I wonder what a cookie is?
