7th Heaven

Mike and Lucy are on the front porch of the house and they discuss their agreement of kissing once Lucy gets her college acceptance letter. They decide that they will kiss and try it, but the first kiss doesn't go so well, so they try it again. Mike decides after the kiss that they will remain friends and Mike asks Lucy to do something. Lucy is upset that he insulted her kissing and decides to try it again, but Mike still doesn't have any feelings for her. Lucy doesn't want to give up and tries again and when it doesn't work, she walks in the house, leaving Mike by himself.
Lucy is upset about the kiss and tries to find someone in the house, but she can't find anyone and runs into Eric coming in the door. She tells Eric that she can't talk to him and needs to find Annie. Eric explains that he can help and when Lucy starts the story, Eric thinks that it is great that Mike just wants to be friends. Lucy gets upset and finds Annie in the bathroom giving the twins a bath. Annie is upset that the twins won't call her "momma", but they will call Ruthie "momma". Lucy decides not to tell Annie and runs into Ruthie on the steps. Ruthie asks her what she is doing and Ruthie explains that she offered to help Annie with the twins, but she didn't need her help. Matt arrives at the house and Robbie tells him that he is meeting John to play pool. Matt gets upset that it is his friend, so Robbie extends an invitation, but Matt is upset and doesn't want to go. Matt shows up in Simon's room and Simon is not nice to him, so he leaves Simon. Matt returns and complains about Robbie and him living at their house. Matt offers to bring Simon to play pool with him, but Simon has to study for his test. Simon makes a date with Matt to go play pool on another day. Matt finds Ruthie in the hallway and yells that John is playing pool with John. At the pool hall, Robbie asks John about how his relationship with Priscilla is going. John is annoyed by the things that Priscilla is doing and Robbie tells him to tell her about the things that bother him. Eric walks into Simon's room and interrupts his reading also. Simon gets rid of Eric by telling him that Matt wants to play pool. When Eric asks if he can play pool with him, Matt declines and explains that Robbie is with John. Matt doesn't want to talk, so Eric goes up to the girls' room. Eric tries to smooth things over with Lucy, but she doesn't want to talk to him. She immediately sits up when Mike calls and Mike tries to smooth things over. Mike tells Lucy that he wants to fix Lucy up with a boy if she would fix him up with a girl, Elena Casey. Lucy asks who he wants to fix her up with, but he doesn't tell her his name, but only says that it is a guy from another school who is "nice". Lucy isn't really excited about the prospect and when Eric comes back into the room, she tells him what is going to happen. Eric leaves the room and Ruthie brings the yearbook over to Lucy and they look up Elena Casey. Ruthie asks about her face and Lucy explains that she has acne. Annie brings the twins back into their room and she continues to try to get them to call her "momma". Annie finds Eric in the bedroom laying on the couch and tells him her problems with the twins. At the apartment, John comes home to find the apartment completely redecorated with an Asian theme. Priscilla gives him a kiss and a hug, but John looks displeased. Ruthie is in the twins' room and they call her "momma". Simon catches Ruthie doing this with the twins.
Ruthie comes into the kitchen and instantly, the twins start calling out "momma". Eric tries to talk to Annie, but she just walks out. Eric asks Happy how his life is going, but Happy runs away. The twins call Eric "momma", but he tells them to be quiet. When Matt arrives at the hospital, he runs into John and asks him if he had fun and when John doesn't know what he is talking about, Matt just walks off. Lucy approaches Elena in school and tells her about Mike. Elena tells Lucy that it is not nice for her to trick her, but Lucy explains that it isn't a trick. Elena realizes that it isn't a trick and then talk about the good attributes of Mike. Elena asks if Lucy and Mike were going out, but Lucy tells her that they decided to be friends and then she happily says that she would love to go out with Mike. Simon sees the end of the conversation and approaches Lucy and asks her if that is who Mike wants to go out with. Simon tells Lucy that he really respects Mike know since he knows that he isn't just going for girls with physical beauty. Simon tells Lucy that Elena is the winner since she will be getting a great guy like Mike. Lucy gets upset because she wanted Mike and explains the kissing fiasco to Simon. Simon tells her to move on and Lucy resolves to do just that. At the hospital, Eric meets up with Matt and offers to drink a cup of coffee with him. When Matt declines his offer, Eric complains that everyone goes to Annie for their problems and then realizes that it sounds ridiculous when he says it out loud. Eric asks Matt if he is jealous of Robbie, but Matt tells Eric that he is jealous of John. They instantly feel very uncomfortable with the conversation and decide that they won't talk about the subject anymore and they walk away from each other. Annie is still trying to get the twins to call her "momma", but they only respond to Ruthie and Ruthie asks if any of the other kids called someone else "momma". Mike catches up with Lucy and Simon and thanks Lucy for talking to Elena for him. Lucy gets mad when he constantly talks about Elena, so she gives him a big kiss. Elena sees them kissing and walks away. Lucy asks if that kiss was like kissing his sister and Mike tells her no, but explains that the kiss came too late and he is still going to go on the date with Elena.
Lucy answers the door to Mike who storms into the house and yells at Lucy for messing up his date with Elena because she never showed up. Simon walks downstairs and Lucy asks him if he said something to Elena because of what lost. Mike tells her that she didn't decide that she likes him because she realizes what she is losing, but she doesn't want anyone else to have what she can't have. Mike storms out of the house and Lucy is left alone. Robbie comes home and Matt and Simon invite him to go to play pool, but Robbie tells them that he doesn't want to interfere with their family relationships. Matt asks Robbie who told him to do that and Robbie tells Matt that no one told him to stay away. Robbie just figured it out by the way that Matt treated him since he went and played pool with John. Robbie explains that John is having a hard time living with Priscilla, but when Matt asks why, Robbie tells him to ask John. Simon offers that Matt talks to John and Robbie and Simon go to the pool hall and they meet up there later. Before they leave, Robbie asks Annie if it is ok and she gives them permission. Matt asks what is wrong with Annie and when she explains the situation, Matt calls her "momma", which causes her to punch him. Matt accuses Annie of being jealous of Ruthie, but she tells Matt that she isn't jealous of Ruthie, she is jealous of Eric since they call him "daddy" even though Annie is with them more often. Annie then explains that the other kids said "daddy" first, but the twins said "momma" first, but just to Ruthie. Matt starts laughing at her for being jealous of Eric, but Eric is jealous of Annie. Matt explains that Eric feels jealous because all of the kids go to Annie for their problems. Matt asks Annie to not tell Eric about it and Annie reassures him that she won't tell on Matt, she will try to find out what is wrong by talking to Eric. Simon and Robbie show up at the pool hall and see Elena and her parents playing pool. Simon introduces himself and she tells him that she saw Lucy and Mike kissing and she knows that he saw them too. Simon explains that Lucy is jealous of Elena and that Mike likes her more than her. Elena is shocked that Lucy is jealous of her and explains why they didn't work out and that Mike only likes her as a friend. Simon offers to bring Elena to the house so that they can clear everything up. Annie walks into Eric's office and tells him that she needs to confess that she is overworked and stressed. Annie tells him that she can't handle the kids coming up to her, but Eric realizes what Annie is trying to do. Eric tells Annie that they are all a little sensitive and they begin a long kiss that is interrupted by Simon. Simon tells them about the situation and tells them that it is complicated. Elena is in the living room and Ruthie asks her about the acne and how she gets it. Ruthie tells Elena that Mike really likes her and explains that she knows everything around the house since she is quiet and sneaky. Matt shows up at the apartment and starts complaining about the décor and how it does not reflect any of his style. Matt explains that John is miserable and he is happy because Priscilla ruined everything. Elena discusses her acne to Eric and about her accomplishments despite having acne and her plans to become a dermatologist. Lucy and Mike come over to the house and they explain that it wasn't a real kiss. Elena accepts Lucy's apology and then Mike tells Elena that she owes him an apology. Elena offers to go out on a date with him for the apology. On his way out of the house, Mike turns around and thanks Lucy for being a good friend to him.
At the apartment, Priscilla paces back and forth until John comes home and starts yelling at John when he comes in the door. Priscilla asks John why he never told her that he didn't like the furniture, but John explains that he doesn't like the apartment, but still likes her. Priscilla apologizes to John for changing the apartment without discussing anything with Matt. John tells her that they are going to be as happy as possible in their apartment. Lucy and Simon talk about the kiss and their conversation is interrupted by Annie running down the hall when she hears the twins say "momma". When everyone gathers in the twins' room, Annie asks for an explanation of why they call Ruthie "momma". Simon speaks up and says that Ruthie taught them to do it by giving them a cookie. Ruthie runs out of the room and Annie runs after her. Matt meets Robbie at the pool hall and asks about Simon. Matt and Robbie discuss the apartment and they are approached by John. John tells them that they have to have a talk, but John wonders if they can talk over a game of pool. Annie finds Ruthie hidden in a closet and when Annie asks her why she did that to the twins, Ruthie explains that it is just a joke. Ruthie tells Annie that she isn't mad about anything, she was just bored. Lucy approaches Eric in his office and explains that she was wrong and asks him if she will ever find anyone. Eric tells Lucy that when she gets a guy, he will be the luckiest guy in the world. On their date, Mike and Elena find common ground in their goals of a family. Lucy answers the door to a guy, Jeremy, whom Mike set Lucy up with. Jeremy calls Lucy pretty, but she explains that there is more to her than just looks. Lucy lets him into the house and she offers to make him cocoa so they can talk.
