  • Great season finale!

Eric goes to see Mr. Hampton. Matt and Sarah think that they are pregnant. Ruthie starts her period. Lucy's friend, Christine, comes over and takes an interest in Simon. Roxanne is suspicious of Christine. Cecilia doesn't want to go to the prom while Simon does. Chandler decides to see his father. Mary says that she did something stupid. Peter helps Ruthie buy Tampons. Simon agrees to take Christine to the prom since she never went when she was in high school.

This was a great episode! I can't believe how Ruthie was acting! I know there was a good reason, but she was really really rude! I don't know whether to agree with Simon or Cecilia about prom. It is a lot of money, but it is part of the high school experience! It was so good seeing Matt and Mary! This was a great episode which gets a 10!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • The doctor who interrupts Matt and Eric is the same one who works at the Glenoak Hospital and was in a couple of episodes before.

    • This is the first episode since "Holy War (2)" where Matt and Sarah both appear in the same episode.

    • Dan Lauria, who formerly starred as Jack Arnold on ABC's "The Wonder Years" from 1988-93, guest stars as Chandler's dying father, Andrew Hampton, in this multi-part season finale episode. Coincidentally (or perhaps not!), the "Fake" Andrew Hampton is portrayed by Orson Bean, whom in real life married Lauria's former TV wife from 'Wonder', Alley Mills, in early 1993, just prior to the filming of that series' final episode!

    • "When Mary calls and Ruthie answers the phone, she just picks it up. She didn't turn it on or off, but it is a cordless phone. "
Not all cordless phones must be turned on after you pick it up. Some you can just pick up and answer. Or she DID press a button, but you just couldn't see it.

    • When Mary calls and Ruthie answers the phone, she just picks it up. She didn't turn it on or off, but it is a cordless phone.

    • When Roxanne asks anyone if they want anything from the kitchen, Lucy says some more chips and the half of hamburger I left from dinner. She goes into the kitchen and talks on the phone and when Ruthie comes in. She puts a bag of chips in a bowl and hands it to Roxanne. Didn't she forget Lucy's half of a hamburger?

    • Lucy said she never went to the prom because no one asked her and she did not want to get turned down. When Lucy was a junior in high school Andrew Nayloss liked her so wouldn't he have asked Lucy to the prom?

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Lucy to Annie: "What do you mean, sometimes a birth control doesn't work?".

    • Lucy to Kevin: "Of course not."

Kevin to Lucy: "I would have been here sooner but your dad only just called... Chandler has been going out of his mind waiting to hear from him."

Lucy to Kevin: "How did it go?"

Kevin to Lucy: "I didn't stick around to find out."

Lucy to Kevin: "You know, if you ever wanna make detective, you're gonna have to be a whole lot nosier."

Kevin to Lucy: "How was your night?"

Lucy to Kevin: "It was okay... Oh, I haven't talked to you all night. I have a friend from school staying in the house for a couple of nights. Her apartment is being fumigated."

Kevin to Lucy: "Is she the one dating Mike? You didn't now Roxanne called me."

Lucy to Kevin: "No, but I knew she and Ruthie where up to something. Do you know Christine?"

Kevin to Lucy: "I didn't even know her name was Christine. I just knew that someone was dating Mike, I don't know what Mike and I dont really care."

Lucy to Kevin: "Neither do I, but it's driving Roxanne crazy."

Kevin to Lucy: "Speaking of which, Roxanne is driving Chandler crazy. Do you have anything to do with that?"

Lucy to Kevin: "I have no idea what you're talking about."
      (Phone rings)

      Lucy to Mary: "Hello."

Mary to Lucy: "Luce, we have to talk."

      Mary to Lucy: "Luce."

Lucy to Mary: "Yes, I'm here. Wanna say hello to Kevin?"

      Kevin to Mary: "Goodnight, Mary."

      Mary to Kevin: "Yes, goodnight."

Lucy to Mary: "How are you?"

Mary to Lucy: "I'm lousy. I've done something really really stupid."

      Lucy to Mary: "What?"

Mary to Lucy: "Never mind, but I need to talk to dad. Where in New York is he?"

Lucy to Mary: "I would guess he's at Matt's."

Mary to Lucy: "Great. Don't tell mom I called."

    • Sarah to Matt: "Maybe the test was wrong."

    • Matt to Sarah: "I guess I'm stronger than the pill."

Sarah to Matt: "Let's hope not."

    • Sarah to Matt: "Maybe the test was wrong."

Matt to Sarah "Which test the first one or the the second one or the thid one or the fourth one?"

    • Annie to Lucy: "I got pregnant with the twins on the pill."

    • Sarah to Matt: "I'm stressed out from school and this is the last thing I need, a health problem."

Matt to Sarah: "It's going to be fine and it's funny your reffering to this as a health problem."

      Nurse to Eric: "Goodnight Grandpa."

      Eric to Nurse: "Grandpa?"

      Kevin to Lucy: "Hi wife."

Lucy to Kevin: "Hi yourself husband. I missed you."
Kevin to Lucy: I" had no idea that I be gone so long. Did you really miss me? (Looking at Lucy smiling) No, is the honeymoon over?"

Lucy to Kevin: "Of course not."
