After the death of Annie's mother, the family has a post-funearl get-together at their house. Eric counsels a newly-wed couple with marital problems. Mary wants to break up with Jeff. Annie is disheveled when her father Charles leaves her immediately after the funeral. Simon tries to piece together exactly where Heaven is. Matt helps Renee with the birth of her baby, when the father doesn;t show up. Lucy feels sadness over her grandmother's death. And Ruthie wants to hear her grandma's favorite song. This was a really good episode. Heartwarming, emotional, and at the same time, fun to watch. Simon's interrogations were fun, entertaining, and interesting, Renee and her baby was nice, and the couple Eric counseled were a little weird, but funny all the same. I really liked the end, when they all sang the song. It was sad too, because the grandmother died and everything, and the moment with Etic and Lucy was sweet, and extremly heartwarming.moreless

There is a gathering at the Camdens house for Grandma Jenny. Grandpa leaves right after the funeral. Mary breaks up with Jeff. Matt is there when Renee's baby is delivered. Eric counsels a young couple that gets married. The man wasn't actually divorced when they got married, so the couple wasn't married in the first place. Simon wants to know where heaven is. This was a great episode! I loved Grandma Jenny's song! I thought that Jeff wasn't that cool, so I was glad that they broke up. I felt sorry for Jeff though. This episode was great and gets 10!moreless

well.....first of all i dont kno why they kicked off annie''s mom so soon. at least when they kicked off her father it waz because the actual actor died. cuz jenny (annie's mom) appears in lucy\'s and annie's dreams in later episodes. well anyway i thought this episode waz ok but thankfully simon found the answer 2 his puzzling question from none other than ruthie!!! and that couple that eric counsels after the funeral has nothing 2 do with the rest of the episode. this waz really a confusing episode. not the best. cum on 7th heaven.....i kno u can do bettr!!!moreless
  • This episode marked the death of Annie's mother at the funeral her father leaves and makes her feel abandoned by her parents,Eric isn't helping her much but he is helping a very messed up couple, the kids are going through some prblems as well.moreless

In this very special 7th Heaven episode Annies mother loses her battle against Leukimia and dies after the funeral her father leaves and makes her feel abandoned by both her parents and by Eric as he helps an engaged couple with their problem of the fact the man is still technically married. During the reception Renee goes into labor and at the same time Simon is asking the guests and his family where heaven is located he dosen't get an anwser for until the most unlikely person gives him an anwser that makes sense...RUTHIE! Throughout everything all Ruthie wants to hear is her Grandmothers song "Camp Granada" Mary breaks up with Jeff but they still remain friends. Renee gives birth to a healthy girl and names her Jenny. In the end Ruthie gets her wish and the family sing sings their grandmothers favorite song.moreless
  • The Camden house is busy after the death of Annie's mother.

Eric has to council a couple having maritial problems. Annie feels all alone with Eric not there and her father already having left. I love the scene where Eric says you still take my breath away. I also like Annie's promice to Ruthie. That scene is great and emotional. I love Annie's father's apology. it is so heartfelt.
Matt was very mature haldeling Renea's labor and delivery. It was really real because he was sqweenish. Renea was much better at pretending to have a baby than Lucy is in the 9th season. I like it when Matt says the best part is that she named the baby after grandama because Siomon says he named the baby grandma. Matt tells Siomon there grandam's name was Jenny. i love Matts older brotherness which shows with the talk with Jeff and Mary.
Mary was really mauture and helpful. I like it when Lucy spilled. I am glad Jeff and Mary will continue to be friends.
Lucy is emotional like always. Lucy always makes you feel bad for her. She is not a bad cryer.
I love Siomons study. It is really cute. I love the scene where Ruthie told Siomon she new where heaven was. It was where she was before Annie's stumach. I love what she said about seeing Grandma Jenny in here, in your heart. The best part was that it came from a 5 year old.
I love the scene where everryone is singing Grandama Jenny's song. Hello Mother, Hello Father. Here I am at Camp Granada. This song always reminds me of the Camdens. I love the family element this scene had.
This was just an alaround great epesode. Not my favorite epesode but none the less great.moreless

    • Eric: (At Steve and Susan's wedding) You may now...(Steve and Susan start kissing) kiss the bride.

    • Ruthie: Mommy? Can we sing Grandma's song now? Annie: Yes, sweetie. Tell you what. We'll go upstairs, we'll wash our faces, we'll get into our jammies, and I'll sing you Grandma's song.

    • Annie: Did Renee have her baby? Matt: Yeah, she had a little girl. Simon: Cool. Matt: Oh, and get this, Mom. You'll love this. She named the baby after Grandma. Simon: She named the baby Grandma? Matt: Her name was Jenny, Simon. Simon: Oh. I had no idea.

    • Steve: I'm a tortured man because...I'm a Bigamist! Eric: Well, I have good news. She can't divorce you, you're not legally married.

    • Eric: Hey, Luce, have you seen your mom? Lucy: (shakes her head) Not Lately. Eric: (walking over to Lucy sitting down in the hallway) Hey, how's my little girl? Lucy: Not so good.

    • Simon: Hey where's Grandpa? Eric: (just waking up) I'm sorry Simon but...he's gone. Simon: Wow him too? Eric: No, to Pheonix, Simon he went back to Phoenix. Simon: (chuckling) Oh. I thought you meant--- Matt: Come on Simon let's go.

    • Annie: Simon, honey, we've talked about Heaven, remember? It's a place where good people go where they're surrounded by so much love. Simon: Yeah, but I need to know where that is, Mom. Annie: Oh. Well, it's...it's up there. Simon: I was hoping you'd be a little more specific than that.

    • Mrs. Morgan: Where's your father? He's all right, isn't he? Annie: Oh...um...yes, he is, he just...ah... Simon: Don't worry, he's not dead, he just went back to Phoenix!

But not for a very long time, so you shouldn't worry, OK? Ruthie: OK. Annie: And I can promise you this. As long as I am here, no matter how old you get, you will always be able to count on me. I will always be there for you no matter what. Charles: (walks in) Annie? Annie: Daddy! Charles: Oh Annie, I wish I had lived up to that same promise you just made to Ruthie. Annie: We can help each other get through this.

    • Annie: Mary, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't act so mature while I'm trying desperately to feel sorry for myself.

    • Lucy: It's not fair. Grandma should be here. It's like there's a party and she wasn't invited. Eric: Luce, I know it's weird having all these people here, and all this food, but...it's not really a party. It's just people who cared about your grandma and your mom, who are trying to-- Lucy: I don't mean today, Dad. I mean life. It's going on without her. It just isn't fair.

    • Annie: I can't believe Daddy. Eric: He's still in shock. He's not himself. Annie: No. Unfortunately, he's exactly himself.

    • Simon: Nobody seems to know where you go when you die. Ruthie: I know where. Simon: You don't either. Ruthie: Uh huh! Simon: Fine, where? Ruthie: I don't know the name, but I know it's where I was before I was born. Simon: You were in Mommy's stomach before you were born. Ruthie: No, before that. Simon: I don't know where that is. I can't picture Grandma there. Ruthie: Picture Grandma right here, in your heart.
