7th Heaven

Season 9 Episode 13

The Fine Art of Parenting

Aired Sunday 8:00 PM Jan 31, 2005 on The CW

  • Trivia

    • When Ruthie and Eric finish talking in the kitchen, Ruthie goes up the stairs while Eric is also next to the stairs. But the next shot, is the sound of the doorbell, with Eric completely on the the other side of the kitchen. How could this be in less than a second? Bad editing? Plus, Eric looked like he was standing and waiting for the doorbell to ring to come in cue.

  • Quotes

    • Kevin to Eric (about Savannah): "I can't tell if she's breathing."

    • Kevin to Lucy (about Savannah): "That unbilical cord is so freaky."

Lucy to Kevin "Yeah, it is kind of freaky, but it'll fall off."

Kevin to Lucy: "Fall off? Can't the doctor just take it off?"

Lucy to Kevin: "No, he can't. It'll fall off when its ready. It'll be fine."

Kevin to Lucy: "I'm sorry, I just didn't realize babies were so..."

      Lucy to Kevin: "Human?"

Kevin to Lucy: "I was gonna say gross."

Lucy to Kevin: "Um, yeah they are."

Mrs. Beeker to Annie: "I'm so glad Lucy's not one of those fussy mothers who don't want people around the baby. You were so protectice of the twins Annie, I thought We wouldn't see them till they went off school. (She laughs) Lucy is just so generous, you know what I mean? (Annie fake smiles and nods annoyed)

Eric to to Vincent: "My son Simon used to be into comic books too when he was younger."

Vincent to Eric: "And how's he doing?"

Eric to Vincent: "Well, ah... the thing is when you do grow up life can sometimes get more complicated. What's right and what's wrong can seem a lot less clearer when you are when you're younger. Less simplistic than, say how to present it in comic books."

Vincent to Eric: "Simon's in trouble?"
