  • Lucy and Kevin's wedding!

    10
    "Perfect"
Lucy and Kevin get married! Mary comes with a surprise: Matt! Lucy is having second thoughts. There is a storm which threatens to prevent the wedding or the guests arriving. Grandpa Charles, Hank, Julie, Mrs. Kinkirk, and Ben all manage to make it despite the weather. Chandler and Roxanne pick up Mrs. Kinkirk and Ben in Las Vegas. Chandler and Ben fight while Roxanne and Mrs. Kinkirk fight. Eric returns to the church! Ruthie says that she wants to marry Peter.

This was a wonderful episode! Lucy and Kevin are so happy and cute together! I was happy to see some familar faces like Hank, Grandpa Charles, Julie, and Grandma Jenny. I wish the Colonel and Ruth and George were there. I don't like Gabrielle at all! I want Peter and Ruthie to be together! They are so perfect for each other! I like the fighting part! That was funny! I give this episode a 10 out of 10!
  • Finally, Lucy's wedding! Where is Robbie?

    7.8
    "Good"
This was a very sweet episode. Kevin is such a hottie and so sweet and romantic with Lucy. I like how Lucy's character has grown into such a cute and interesting girl. But lately she is so self involved and creates the same drama in each episode. That is getting old. Why is she so insecure all the time? I dont understand how she thinks Roxanne is like a supermodel becuase she is not that cute at all. She is too rough also. They are not putting cops in a good light and she is so young. My big question though is where is Robbie? Did they ever explain where he went?

omg!!!! i cant belive it!!! lucy's a getting married! how sweet but it was soooo painful 4 lucy 2 think that no one would b able 2 make it 2 her wedding. but thankfully more ppl showed up than she expected.

the best part of this episode waz when mary showed up woth her " mystery guest " her mystery guest waz of course the oldest camden .... matt!! ! ! he also comforted her because she waz such a nervous bride. ... lol

but i cuddnt believe it when roxanne and chandler AND ben and mrs. kinkirk get in to a fight. and then they all show up at the wedding soaked 2 death and very inapropriately dressed!! but at least they showed up!!

  • Lucy's wedding!

The episode we all were waiting for!

Despite a nasty thunderstorm that has cut off power and grounded flights, Lucy's wedding to Kevin does go through, and siblings Matt and Mary do make a special surprise appearance!

A high-rating episode, this is one of my favorites. Many family members, like Dr. Hank and Aunt Julie, return. Songs from Stephen's first CD are included in the episode. And you truly see the family bond. I recall how my family members and I would sometimes just lay in bed at night and talk about things to come.

Don't miss this one! 10 out of 10!

  • Soppy, ludicrous, ridiculous. What else is there to say?

    0.1
    "None"
It's hard to know where to start. There were a lot of soppy sentimental moments, like in a soap opera. I think that's what the viewers predictably wanted, so that's what they predictably got.

And then there were the stupid ridiculous nonsensical moments - fighting between Ben and Chandler, Mrs. Kinkirk and Roxanne. Was it supposed to be funny? It wasn't. It was just stupid. Was it just filler because they just didn't know how else to fill up the hour? It would have made more sense to just have more soppiness, or more reminiscence, or touching moments between Lucy and her grandfather. Or even the twins acting cute, and having a story line of their own, because they are part of the family.

It was vapid and stupid and a waste of a good hour.

The most funny part was when Ben and his mom was fighting Chandler and Roxanne.

It was really great to have all the camdens together.

All the things that made the episode great:

flashback of old 7th heaven episodes

    rev.camden returning to the pulpit

    It was awesome!!!!
  • Lucy and Kevin Finally get married.

I thought this was a very good episode. It was nice too finally see Lucy and Kevin get married, and the return of Matt and Mary. I thought the advice that Matt gave Lucy was extremely touching.I think that the whole thing with Gabriel was rather useless but other than that, a GREAT episode.
  • Overall, this episode was exactly what I expected. There were bumps along the way, some funny moments, and sentimental moments. But it was the apppearance of the very missed Matt and Mary that made me score this episode a "10."

Wow, what a wonderful episode! We deserve it too, after such a ridiculous 7-week rerun hell. WB please order more episodes next season! Lucy's weddings was good, but it was the return of a very heathy and good-looking (probably the best he's ever looked in this series) Barry Watson and Jessica Biel as Matt and Mary. To have the whole family together again was the major bright spot for me as I'm sure other fans. Let's break it down....

Ok, this episode really didn't have any real seperate storylines for individual characters as it just revolved around Lucy and Kevin's upcoming wedding and everyone getting there on time. But everyone had their seperate part involved in the wedding.

Lucy and Kevin really had their moments in this episode. The conversation that they had in Ruthie's room about him thinking Lucy is "nervous about the wedding night." Then her giving him the relief that she's fine and excited about that made me laugh. Also, it was quite realistic seeing Lucy tense up as there was a storm that could hurt many of her loved ones getting to the church on time. It was also realistic seeing her get nervous and getting cold feet at the last minute as most people do at their wedding (believe me, I've seen it). Even though she's been wanting this for so long when it's finally here she's gets scared. And the dearly missed Matt was the right person to give her the advice she needed-- and what good advice it was. Brenda Hampton really seems to have matured Matt's character a lot since we last saw him.

This was really a good time for Eric I'm sure. For the first time he got to marry one of his children in his church by him. And it was the official returning of him back to the chruch. Was I the only relieved and happy to see him happy and smiling when the audience gave him a standing ovation at the pulpit? It was also touching having flashbacks of Lucy when she was a baby and seeing her around the house. Annie also had her moments as she had flashbacks with her mom and Lucy around the house when she was five. It was nice seeing the writer's acknowledge Annie's feelings of her mother which are always strong, especially on special events. She's been gone a long time but Annie always has missed her and has played a great part in her life and the life of her children before her passing.

The rest of the cast with Simon, Ruthie, Peter, Cecilia, etc. didn't have much take in this episode as they were just long for the ride and just being each others dates for the wedding.

Probably the least favorite part of this episode for me and for many fans was the fight scene between Chandler, Roxanne, Ben and Mrs. Kinkirk. It was even more unbelieveable that Chandler and Mrs. Kinkirk (usually the saniest of the bunch) were the ones to start the fights and doing it while wrestling in the dirt in the middle of the desert! Another little disappoint was Mary's surprise guest. I thought (as many other fans) thought it would be Robbie or Wilson, but Matt!? Hello, we knew he'd be there as we'd all previously seen in the 1,000 promos of this show as he walks her down the aisle.

Overall, this episode was exactly what I expected. There were bumps along the way, some funny moments (I was crying in tears of laughter when Lucy rush to say "I do" in a desperate attempt and the audience laughed), and sentimental moments. But it was the apppearance of the very missed Matt and Mary that made me score this episode a "10." Now since that phase of Lucy and Kevin's relationship is over we have four more episodes to go before the end of the season to see the aftermath of the wedding plus many other surprising Camden storylines as the season draws to a close.

    Grade: ***10 out Of 10***

    Rants and Bits:

*I'm so glad that Barry Watson made a full recovery over his disease and is looking better than ever. Him not having the long greasy hair anymore really improved his looked even more to looking healthier.

*The saddest part in this episode was seeing the late Graham Jarvis beyond grave as he appears in his final performance in this episode as he died this past April 16 when this episode was taped back in February. Either Annie's going to have a lot of heartache soon or the producers will recast his role (which I hope they won't).

*I hope Ruthie keeps her word on not getting married till she's 30. Not every Camden should get married too early on in their life. Same goes for the twins.

*Wow, this is the second time it has every rained in Glenoak on screen! The first was back in the 5th season episode "Regrets."

*Lucy, was so not whiny that much in this episode. Yah! And when she was it was for good reason, I admit!

*Finally, we find out that Hank and Julie had a baby boy last May. I'm also glad to see Deborah Raffin and Ed Begley, Jr. on the show again. They are always a welcome.
