8 Simple Rules

Rory: I've been out all day Dad, and I can't get rid of these stupid cards. Paul: Rory! Rory: The only guys interested in them are guys with baseball cards. If I trade them I'll just have more.

Rory: Baseball cards? What do I want with baseball cards? Baseball is a dead sport.

(Rory and Paul are racing in wheelchairs) Rory: I've got a good lead! Paul: That's what you think! Cate: Guys! Nurse:(to Cate) Oh, are they yours? Put 'em on a leash!

Cate: I'll tell you what we're gonna do. I'm going to give you my beeper number and if I'm not home and you need me, ever, you just page me 24/7 even if it's just to say hi. The only one that will have the number will be you. Kerry: Really? Cate: Well you and the guy with the little cooler on the helicopter.

Bridget: You look rested. Cate: Is that supposed to be sarcastic? Kerry: Oh mom, I'm sorry. Bridget just doesn't understand that you've got more important things to do. If anyone should understand sleeping until noon it's her.

Cate isn't excited about the table Paul cleaned. Paul: Look at this table. You could deliver one of your babies on it or make one if you wanted to. You're probably tired. Hey I'm tired too.

Cate: I am so nervous. Paul: Why? You're a great nurse. Cate: But now I have to boss people around. Paul: You're great at that too. Like they say, do what you know.

Cate: You wanted girls day all for yourself, and you're not even a girl.

Cate: I just had the weirdest dream.... I dreamed we had a monkey.

Rory (talking to his mom while she is sleeping): Buy Rory a monkey, you yourself love monkeys.
