After witnessing some strange behavior from Bridget and Kerry, Cate tries to find out what they are up to -- not suspecting that they might be trying to set up a special Mother's Day getaway for her. Meanwhile, C.J. and Rory doubt Jim's ability to put an engine back together after he falls in love with a classic car -- which is in for a wax job at Rory's new detailing service -- and decides to fix a noise in the motormoreless

    I thought this was a fantastic episode!

    PROS:
    1) Great plotline! The girls use the secret language they made up when they were little that they only used when they were up to something, Cate takes this into account and looks further into what the girls could be up to. I also liked the entire Rory/car detailing idea.
    2) It was a very funny episode! Some of my favorite things were "Oh gross! Grandpa drool!" and Grandpa: "I'm looking for the ping!" C.J.: "Lets let the CAT scan decide that."
    3) Again, i loved David Spades performance as C.J. on this. It was just brilliant!

    CONS:
    1) I wasn't incredibly crazy about the entire scene with Cate at the spa.moreless

    • Rory: I can't wait to get out of the car detailing business and get where the real money is. Rory and C.J.: (At the same time) Night crawlers!

    • Cate: Where have you been? Rory: Putting up fliers. C.J.: Oh don't worry, we found grandpa, he was in the basement the whole time.

    • Kerry: We rented Evergreen. I hear it's totally fresh and fun.

    • Bridget: singing Who's the girl with the pretty hair? Bridget! Bridget! Who's the girl that makes boys stare? Bridget Hennessy! Cate: Honey? Are you affirming yourself in the shower? Bridget: Mom! Later in the scene Bridget: Lather, rinse, repeat! Lather, rinse, repeat! Do it twice, my hair smells nice, Lather, rinse, REPEAT! Now, onto the legs. Who's the girl with the pretty legs? Bridget! Bridget!
