      • Ray Teal should be familiar to fans of Bonanza for his recurring role as Sheriff Roy Coffey.

      • Gena Rowlands made her fourth and final appearance as Teddy Carella, the deaf mute wife of lead protagonist Steve Carella, in this episode. Rowlands was very popular in her role and fans of the show even started a letter writing campaign to have her character made a regular but because of other acting commitments Rowlands only made four appearances.
