At the hospice, Ji-seok refuses to take Mi-yeon’s phone calls. The pain is so excruciating that it brings tears to his eyes. Ji-seok’s mother goes to Mi-yeon and asks her to visit Ji-seok at the hospice. Tae-hun, so drunk that he cannot even walk properly, runs into Deok-gu and Wal-suk. He suddenly grabs Deok-gu by the collar, but falls to the ground. Mi-yeon is surprised to see Tae-hun brought home on Deok-gu’s back. When Wal-suk asks her if something is the matter, she replies that she will go to the hospice to see Ji-seok. Tae-hun tells Mi-yeon that his company volunteers at a hospice and asks her to take part in their activities twice a week. Ji-seok cannot believe his eyes when he sees Mi-yeon alight from a bus and run toward him. Choked with tears, he barely gets out the words to ask her what she is doing there. After sending Mi-yeon to Ji-seok’s side, Tae-hun finds it impossible to concentrate on his work. Jeong-ran announces her decision to leave the gallery and explains the work to the rest of the staff. She calls Ji-seok’s mother and asks if there has been any word from Ji-seok. Mi-yeon takes Ji-seok into town, saying she will do everything that she couldn’t do for him during high school and college. Receiving Mi-yeon’s text message, Deok-gu and Byeong-chan go to visit Mi-yeon and Ji-seok. The four of them get together at a pool hall and enjoy themselves like they used to do in the old days.moreless
