Naomi develops a crush on Zach, one of Ivy's surfer friends, and pretends to know how to surf in order to get closer to him. Ivy, still upset that her mom slept with Oscar, tries to build a relationship with her dad. Dixon and Annie sign Debbie up on an online dating site, but things don't turn out as planned. Teddy is jealous when he sees Ian with another guy at a beach luau and decides to act on his feelings. Adrianna's fame strains her relationship with Navid, which pushes him closer to Silver.moreless

    "Mediocre"

    A lukewarm episode of 90210 tonight. The end of the episode really salvaged the whole thing overall. Maybe 30 minutes in, I was really unhappy with the episode, but the end really made up for it considering how eventful it was. The final scenes were exciting but the excellence of the show is nowhere near as it was in the first couple episodes of the season.

    All I can say is thank god this isn't the closing episode of 2010, at least we get another episode next week, hopefully it exceeds in quality. For the most part, I'm just not liking the direction the show is taking. Adrianna was one of the most interesting characters in the first season, now it seems as though she's run her course. The Navid & Adrianna relationship is dying but that doesn't mean the writers should hook him up with Silver of all people.

    There's no denying that these characters are completely different as who they were in the first season, Silver in particular. Some people call it development, some people just call it laziness, but time will only tell if these characters will not be so different as their former selves. Annie was hardly in this episode, and she definitely needs more screen time.

    And Naomi & Oscar? Really? Guys, this isn't The Secret Life of The American Teenager, it just doesn't make sense that these characters are switching partners more now than ever for shock value, especially Ryan & Debbie. What is up with that?

    Liam's plot is still uninteresting but we got an intense scene at the end there, even if the story arc is somewhat laughable. Teddy kissing Ian was just about the best thing about the episode. The rest of the things were not that great, hopefully this show will improve soon.moreless

    First of all, I'm so fed up with Adrianna. What the hell is wrong with that girl!? She has this amazing boyfriend and some great friends, and just because she's in the spotlight now she decides to ignore them all. Horrible Ade.
    I so really like this thing that is going on with Silver and Navid. They don't really make the prettiest couple but they certainly are right the alley of cute couple. I enjoy watching them together and interacting with each other,they are so natural about it and they don't have all the drama that Adrianna and Navid had in the beginning and still have now.
    The thing with Mr. Matthews and Debbie is just kind of wrong and so, so random to say the least. Let's see how the writers do with this one plot and then we'll go from there.
    I think this show has a lot of potential to be a great on, but it has been lacking in general. The plots are becoming weak and doesn't hold the interest of the audience as it used to. Just look at the ratings. Let's just hope they do better than that.moreless
