Wow, It really sucks that they had to get an actress pregnant on the show. I think its just a tad more drama & predictable plot for a soap then I expected. Just when Adrianna gets clean, they have to make her pregnant. That is just sow weird. My favorite plot is Sean being the con, that was a perfect amazing plot. It was just not predictable & was a potentially amazing plot. Kelly & Brenda are still fighting. I really wish there wasn't drama between them, I think they are too old for that. Dixon's plot was okay, didn't seem believable & a bit of a filler. Silver was great. Amazing!
Annie overhears Sean in a suspicious conversation with someone over the phone, in which she raises uncertainty about whether Sean really is who he claims to be. Meanwhile, Brenda tries to make amends to Kelly after revealing that she had a tryst with the departed Ryan Matthews. But they both come together when they agree to accompany Adrianna to her group therapy session for recovering drug addicts. Christina invites Dixon over at her house where she makes a startling revelation to Dixon that she has no romantic feelings for him because her interests lay elsewhere. Also, Adrianna learns her friend Hank is HIV positive and admits she has had unprotected sex with him. Later at the clinic, Adrianna is told she is HIV negative, though the doctor announces Adrianna is pregnant. Another awesome episode from 90210. I love this show, I'm really glad that Sean has left, I hated him. I can't wait for the next episode.
In this episode of 90210, the following happens. We open with Brenda in a doctor's office learning about a diagnosis, but about what? And why does she look so upset? Only time will tell. Adrianna asks Kelly to help her get in touch with Brenda, as she wants her to go to one of her meetings with her. The meeting is about thanking people who have helped you through your addiction. Annie overhears Sean on the phone and hears something about money and so she asks him what is going on. So the family having a meeting about it and we learn that Sean's adoptive father was in debt and he killed himself and so Sean now owes the debt. He owes over $200,000. Kelly goes round to see Brenda and to ask her to go with Adrianna. She says she can't and Kelly calls her selfish and leaves. But the next day, Brenda turns up to the meeting. Adrianna learns that one of the other people from rehab has recently learnt that he is HIV positive. So Brenda and Kelly agree to take Adrianna to be tested, she tells them he and her slept together a couple of times. Annie thinks that something is up with Sean and tells her mother about it. We learn that Debbie is also thinking the same, that something isn't right about the whole situation. At the clinic Adrianna learns that her HIV test is negative, but she learns that she is pregnant. Adrianna freaks out and Brenda walks out. Kelly stands by Adrianna and tells her that she will help her. Annie and Harry ask Harry to get Sean to take a paternity test to prove that he really is Harry and Tracey's son. Kelly goes round to see Brenda and Brenda tells her that she can't have kids. Brenda then tells Kelly that she is thinking about adopting a child. Harry tells Sean that he will get the money together as long as Sean agrees to take a paternity test. We also hear Dixon singing in this episode and he's actually not too bad. On the morning of the paternity test, Harry goes to wake Sean up, but he has gone. It makes Harry realise that he wasn't his son. When they try to contact the P.I. who tracked Sean down they can't, so they believe that they were working together. Naomi yet again blames Annie for Sean leaving. Annie apologises to Harry and he tells her that she doesn't have to, it's not her fault.
Sean is revealed, Adrianna and Brenda get startling news. Starring: Rob Estes, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Dustin Milligan, Jessica Stroup, with Lori Loughlin, and Jessica Walter
What a comeback for the show. While seeming to be disappointing recently, and the need for a reboot. The episode proved many twists and turns that i really liked, like Brenda (special guest star Shannen Doherty) not being able to have children and Adrianna (guest star Jessica Lowndes) being pregnant after discovering that she did not have HIV. I liked that Sean (guest star Josh Henderson) was not who he said he was, but it was a little predictable, and a little bit of a shame that Harry (Rob Estes) could not listen to Annie (Shenae Grimes) or Debbie (Lori Loughlin). But i hated that Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) got mad at Annie because of the whole situation with Tracy (guest star Christina Moore) giving him the money, it didn't make much sense. This is one of the best episodes that 90210 has shown, and i hope they all stay like this.
I'm glad that they found out what was really going on with the new brother, and I can't wait to see who they get to replace him. I thought that Brenda was going to be the one that was prego, but then when I saw the way that she was acting I thought that her bad behavior must be because of a serious problem, cancer aids or something. I was really disappointed to find out that it was only infertility. I wonder if they are setting it up so that she gets the girls baby. This episode was good but I dont think that is was one of the best I wished for more after such a long break.
I really want to like this show - really I do, but it needs shaking up a bit. This episode was good in parts, bad in others. Annie is awful with terrible acting. Silver, Adriana and Harry are quite good. The scene when Harry finally realises Sean is nothing more than a con man was actually quite moving. So was Adrianna's when she found out she was pregnant. Silver and Dixon gel together and there were a couple of nice moments with them. Naomi and Tracy getting scammed was a good bit of plot. Most of the rest was a bit ho-hum.
90210 started with so much hype, but now nobody could care less about it. It's a show with weak, predictable writing and even worse acting. Shenae Grimes runs around making even more bizarre facial expressions than Bill Cosby. She overacts during simple conversations and shows no emotion during the serious climatic moments.
As for this ridiculous Christina party, is it possible to make your attempts to mimic Gossip Girl even more obvious? Denzel Washington, Kobe Bryant and Dr. Dre are not hanging out with a high school girl (well, Kobe actually might, wink wink.) But wow, this show is just really bad.
Let me explain why I scored it with a "9" and why the classification is "Pivotal", the answer is: Jessica Lowndes as Adrianna Duncan in the show.
AWESOME is what she did. She is an amazing actress, she only has 20 years and she handles so good her storyline that has so much potential to change the progress of her story and also from other several characters.
At the beginning of the episode: Ethan, Annie and Adrianna were in the same classroom and a teacher said: "You still can see without using your eyes.. and that's called: intuition"
The episode had 2 main stories (yeah! at the same time) and 2 secondary's.
The first was that Sean wasn't the person everybody though he was. Can I say "Fraud"? Yes. Harry was blind about his paternity but Annie and Debbie had their doubts. Conclusion: the intuition worked perfectly. Sean was looking for money and he got it with Naomi's mom, Tracy.
The second was that Adrianna found out that she is pregnant. The father is.. she doesn't know. She was with several guys when she used to take drugs and that answer is just a question mark.
We add a secondary storyline that is that Brenda can't have children. These two stories interact very close from each other. We also can say that Brenda's and Kelly's friendship is back in the road.
Adrianna knew (her intuition) that something was different, since last episode at the crocket game and at the beginning of this one, she also was thinking to much.
The second secondary story was Dixon and Silver. Amazing couple that starts to have problems with each other (since last episode Silver's intuition started to work) but they solve it in this same episode. Dixon lied to Silver about Christina (the cheerleader that at the end is bisexual) but he behaves fine at the end and also explains her with very good words what she means to him: "you're the girl I wanna be with".
If you see, I really like the "intuition" thing because is true and I believe in it, I'm a woman and I know things without seeing or listening. Shakira has a song that says "Las mujeres somos las de la intuición" translated is like "women are the one's of the intuition" and yes it is.
Another things guys: Jessica Lowndes is an amazing actress, I really like her character, at the beginning she was nobody but what she does on screen is very, very good, her character is developing in a positive and big way (even that the her story if full of drama), I hope to see more stories about her and also would like to see a deeper development of Silver's character, I think that both Jessica's are made for this.
Sean plays the Wilson family for cash; Dixon hits a party with Christina, which makes Silver unhappy; Naomi and Annie's feud continues; Brenda gets some sad news while Kelly gives her yet another chance; and oh, yeah -- Adrianna finds out she's pregnant.
Well! It's great to see '90210' finally back. This episode was pretty good! Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna) had the most dramatic storyline when she found out she was pregnant, and doesn't even know who the father could be. Her crying in the morning after checking her belly for a baby bump was nicely done, as usual for this actress. Meanwhile, Dixon and Christina had great chemistry at her dad's party (Denzel and Dr. Dre were invited, apparently, lol) -- so good that Dixon accused her of liking him, and she put him in his place by revealing she has a GIRLfriend. Surprising stuff here! Annie's 'intuition' led to Sean's money scheme getting found out; however, her inability to warn Naomi and Tracy led to THEM getting scammed. So, the drama was nicely developed here, and it leaves us viewers looking forward to Naomi's next vicious lash at little Annie Wilson. Meanwhile, Kelly gives Brenda yet another chance at friendship... and Brenda reveals she can't have babies anymore. However, she wants to adopt a child. I'm sensing a very predictable plot where Brenda ends up adopting Adrianna's child, but oh well! The predictability of this storyline has a consolation prize; At least Brenda and Kelly are talking again. More drama to come, I'm sure. Overall, the show seems more promising as it settles into its groove. The wardrobe has been improving, the dialogue has been improving (even Ethan was very tolerable, although he had next to no scenes), and Shenae Grimes's overacting has dampered off a bit. I can see her beginning to show potential as Annie. The icing on the cake was Rob Estes (Harry Wilson), who rocked it when he walked into his 'son's' room and discovered the little thief had betrayed him. Can't wait for next week!
Annie overhears as Sean holds a suspicious conversation over the phone, raising uncertainty about whether he really is who he claims to be. Meanwhile, Brenda reveals a secret to Kelly, Christina makes a startling revelation to Dixon, and Adrianna receives potentially life-changing news. I'm really liking this series so far. Shenae Grimes was excellent on Degrassi, and besides that, she's hot. That's the main reason I started watching this show. Plus the writing is really good. I love the writing on this show, and the plots especially. Naomi and Annie as almost sisters is a very good and creative storyline. Great episode.
