Well this has been way better than the last episodes we've been having. There was something different about this episode, which I liked. In continuation of Ethan getting in a car crash, of course Ethan is okay, but the person that he hit got it worse. A new character, Rhonda is introduced. Out of pity, Ethan helps her out on everything Rhonda needs which puts a gap between Annie & Ethan. Annie is honestly getting really annoying with her "acting" issues. The past episodes, she's been unbearable to watch. The plot that I used to look forward too, now has become my least favorite. It turns out in the end, Rhonda just pretended to be still recovering, when she has already recovered. Looks like someone has a crush on Ethan. What does that mean for Annie & Ethan? Honestly, don't care about their relationship like I did before. But the Rhonda storyline is good. Adrianna tells Ty that he's the father of the baby. His mom tries to make the "problem" go away. Adrianna's mother, Constance comes to the rescue, It got her some redemption, so a good mother daughter moment from the Tate-Duncans. Dixon & Navid try to play the fields with Christina, much to Silver's discomfort. Looks like Silver loves Dixon by the end, they get back together. Navid meets this random girl at the party. I loved the whole Silver vs. Christina scene. Adrianna tells the whole school about the pregnancy in the end, I'm loving her character development, it was a bold move. I found myself really enjoying this episode.
  • Another good episode.

Christina invites Dixon, plus several more students, to a house party where the band Carolina Liar will perform. There, Navid moves on from his relationship with Adrianna by connecting with a fellow Iranian girl named Nika. Naomi and Adrianna try to find a way to break the news about the pregnancy to Adrianna's mother and Ty. Meanwhile, Ethan gets involved in an unexpected mishap when he has a traffic accident and run-in with a shy student from his French class named Rhonda. Another amazing episode from 90210. Well, wasn't the best episode so far, I didnt really like the fact that Ethan was spending more time with Rhonda than Annie. I also didn't like Ty's family, they are weird. I am really starting to like Adrianna at the start of the season I didn't really like her but now I really like it, and I also liked the fact that her mother supported her for once.
  • Good episode with plenty of character development

This episode picks up shortly after where the previous episode left off. Annie and her parents show up at the hospital to see how Ethan is. Ethan is more concerned about how Rhonda who's car he hit, is doing. Throughout the episode Ethan is spending more and more time with Rhonda as his relationship with Annie is starting to suffer.

Adrianna's pregnancy is starting to show and she still hasn't told her mother. She does finally however, build up the nerve to tell the father of the baby, Ty Collins. Ty tells his parents right away and they agree to help Adrianna throughout the whole pregnancy and send her away to have the baby and put it up for adoption. All of this is put into a contract that she and her mother must sign. Also in the contract, is the stipulation that she cannot tell anyone, that the father is Ty. Adrianna's mother finally finds out that she is pregnant when Ty's mother stops by her house. Adrianna's mother does not like the contract and tells Ty's mother to take a hike.

Silver is looking for Dixon throughout the episode and finally tracks him down at a party. She is very jealous when she sees him talking to another girl and storms out. Dixon chases her down and she finally tells him she loves him. They get back together.

In the end, Adrianna ask Navid to help her and all of the TVs and monitors in the school are on with her telling the whole school that she is pregnant and there is no father; it was an immaculate conception.

In this episode of 90210, the following happens. Annie, Harry and Debbie all rush to the hospital, so fast in fact that Annie doesn't even get dressed. Ethan is fine, but the other person involved in the car accident is in surgery. Adrianna tells Ty that she is pregnant and that he is the father. He tells her to get it taken care of, but she tells him that it's too late for that. Back at Adrianna's house, she and Naomi talk about how she is going to tell her mother about the pregnancy. The next day Ty talks to Adrianna and tells her that he's told his parents about it and they want to help, so they invite her and her mother round for a meal to discuss the matter. The next day Ethan goes to see Rhonda; the girl was involved in the car accident. We soon learn that she is also in West Beverley, and that they even have classes together, even though Ethan doesn't recognise her. Adrianna goes round to Ty's house, but doesn't take her mother with her. Adrianna goes for her first proper scan with Ty's mother. Soon Adrianna learns that Ty's mother, wants to spend her to New Mexico to have the baby, and then for the baby to be adopted. Soon Adrianna has to tell her mother the truth, when Ty's mother turns up at the house about the contract. Soon Adrianna's mother comes to her defence when Ty's mother tells her that she's not responsible enough to have a child. It gets to a point, where Ty's mother is thrown out of the house. Ethan is spending more and more time with Rhonda, and we soon see that she inst as ill as she is making out. Ty tells Adrianna that his parents want to test the baby to see if he really is the father. Soon Adrianna announces to the whole school via video that she is pregnant. At the end of the episode we see Adrianna walking the halls of the school with her head held high.
  • Perhaps the best episode yet. At least, in terms of the volume of standout bits. Some gems, in chronological order:

    9.5
    "Superb"
    1) Adrianna's mom, Constance, is like the perfect domineering/hot mess blend of dynamic duo Felice Martin and Jackie Taylor from the original series.

Constance: "So, did you hear about the toothpaste commercial?"

Adrianna: "Yeah, I did…I didn't get it -- but-- I got the lead in the school play!"

    Constance: "Damn."

    Me: [Spitting out drink].

    2) Ethan got pwned by Rhonda when he went to visit her in the hospital and apologize for causing the car accident…being careless…puncturing her lung…

Rhonda: "Ya know, the important thing is that we're both all right."

Ethan: "You have a punctured lung."

Rhonda: [Laughs] "Honestly, it sounds a lot worse than it really is. I promise."

    Ethan: [Sheepishly] "Thanks."

Rhonda: "I should really be thanking you, I mean, you got me out of this killer math test on Wednesday."

Ethan: [Perking up] "Oh yeah? What school do you go to?"

    Rhonda: "What?"

Ethan: "You're in high school, right?"

Rhonda: "Yeah. I go to West Beverly. I'm in your French class."

    Ethan: "Uh…I'm…I'm really sorry."

Rhonda: "Sorry for what? Sorry for not knowing who I am? Why would you? I'm not cool. I'm not popular. You obviously just live in your own little bubble, where people like me don't even register."

    Ethan: "That's not true."

Rhonda: "When was the last time you talked to somebody who wasn't running for Homecoming Queen or didn't play a varsity sport? We exist Ethan, and some of us are really interesting people."

    Me: "Ooooohhhhh!!!"

    3) The doozy.

Dixon and Navid go to a house party and try to pick up chicks after their budding relationships fizzle out. Christina asks, "So, you two see any ladies you're interested in?"

Navid: [Staring at girl across the yard] "She looks pretty…and not pregnant."

    Me: [Applauding]

    I. Love. This. Show.

This was my favorite episode. It was so wonderful. I'm so happy to see Adrianna's mother helping her daughter getting by the situation with Ty's mother. Ty's mother is totally nuts, why the hell she wants to give the child in adoption. Adrianna is so cute, and oh my god, her baby will be so cute too. Naomi was perfect in this episode too. As well as Silver. When she was at Christina's party and she saw Dixon with her it was quite exciting. OMG 90210 becomes greater day-by-day. However, i want more Doherty to come, but i know that she will return in at least one episode.
  • Adrianna gets to see what it means to be a mom - by watching her own!

    "Great"
The best part of this episode came from Adrianna's storyline. Constance, her mother, showed us the wrath of every mother's mantra, "Don't mess with my kid!" She stepped up in high fashion. I watch this show with my teenage daughter. Her responses during the exchange between Constance and Mrs. Collins spoke volumes. This was well written and well acted. Adrianna's character development since the beginning of this show has been revealing and worthwhile. Naomi, as the loyal friend, is ready to do whatever is necessary to back up her friend. The weakest part of this show is becoming the Wilson family except for maybe Dixon. I really like Shenae Grimes, thought she was very good on Degrassi but something about her character makes me a little crazy. When she apologized to the director for Ethan not showing up, it almost sent me over the edge. I know some will disagree with me but I watch from the point of view of a mother. I guess it could have been intended as an angle to talk to the director. This is so different than the original BH90210 where the Walsh's became the center of the show easily and with good reason.

The addition of Aimee Teegarden is pretty interesting with lots of possibilities. The actress has done a great job on Friday Night Lights.

Last week's cliffhanger where Annie is on the phone to Ethan and then we hear a crash is resolved in this episode. He crashes into a girl called Rhonda. He is uninjured but she has a punctured lung. He feels enormous empathy for her and so cuts play rehearsals and time with annie to be with her. Annie is miffed that she didn't get the lead in the play but finds it hard to ask why. One of the best bits of the episode was when Adrianna announces to the whole school via the screens in the halls that she is pregnant. Great stuff!
  • How ironic is it that characters we were supposed to love in the beginning are now despise and the characters we were supposed to hate are now totally awesome?!

    "Fair"
Interesting episode as far as character development is concerned. We all know where the whole Ethan/Rhonda thing is going (come on folks). But you got to admit, the bond they were sharing is kind of cute and it makes me wonder if Ethan would be a better match for Rhonda heh. I dunno why she had to go to ridiculous lengths to lie to Ethan like she did. Maybe she caused that crash on purpose, who knows?

Annie meanwhile is getting dull and annoying with her theater drama stuff and I have a feeling it will only get worse.

And seriously...Silver? I hate her guts now! This episode gets a slightly lower rating because she appeared and made an ass of herself. And then Dixon and Silver decide to get back together despite breaking up in the episode prior? Are you kidding me? The way that Silver's been acting all self centered like that does not warrant a free ticket in any romantic relationship. I was expecting a little bit more time of Dixon and Silver being broken up but this is unbelievable. Now I expect the relationship is only gonna get rocky from hear on out cuz I refuse to believe they can actually have a good relationship again.

The best part of the episode was once again Adrianna and Naomi. It is quite surprising and relieving that Adrianna and her over-bearing mother are gaining a better understanding of each other now as a result of the pregnancy and the scene at the end where she announces her pregnancy to all of West Beverly...that was funny awesome! Would've been funnier if she admitted the father was Ty but I guess she just wanted to give him a heart attack for no reason. ;)
  • the 15th episode of the season I think. It was REALLY GOOD!

So Annie and Ethan are not looking so lovey dovey with each other right now...it sucks. They are sooooo cute together!! Rhonda is a...well I don't like her. She needs to back off Ethan! I can't believe she acted like she was hurt more than she really was! IDK. I just dont like her, shes playing with his sympathy card to much. Silver and Dixon got back together after she broke down and told him she was in love with him too. Navid and Adrianna still aren't talking....that sucks. Oh, and Costance actually acted like Adrianna's mother and not a B****. I really hope Anthan don't break up....for good anyways.
  • Ethan bonds with the victim of his car accident, an unpopular West Bev student; Dixon and Navid try to pick up girls, but can't get over Silver or Adrianna; Adrianna tells Ty about her pregnancy, and Ty's parents unexpectedly get involved.

    "Poor"
Wow. I'm sorry to say it, but I think this was a terrible episode.

First of all, there was some pretty poor writing. At Christina's party, Navid walked up to some poor girl and started talking about what an uncool guy he is, and it was painful to watch! It was supposed to be quirky and funny, but it was just so... well, I guess 'read'. I don't think the actor carried that scene the best he could have -- not that it would EVER happen in real life. On the other hand, Dixon and Christina can carry dialogue very well. I'm almost kind of sorry he and Silver have reunited already -- I would love to see Dixon and Silver sans the relationship, since both characters have a lot of potential with their own personal conflicts. I at least hope Christina sticks around!

Adrianna's mother kind of rocks. She's believable as a b!tchy lady who genuinely wants to be there for her daughter, although she struggles with treating Adrianna well. However, Ty's parents? They seemed REALLY fake and not believable at all. By the way, the writers burned through what would usually be three or four episodes's worth of teen pregnancy drama in about forty five minutes -- Adrianna told Ty he was the father, he told his parents, her mom found out, her school found out, and she started thinking about adoption. ALL. WITHOUT. A BREAK. It was just too fast! There was very little impact because there was really not enough time for any emotional connection between those events and the characters involved. But, as usual, it was fun to watch Adrianna, especially in the last scene of the show when she announced to the entire school she was pregnant, and claimed it was 'immaculate conception'. That part was well acted and enjoyable to watch!

Naomi did very little this episode, which kind of sucked. You know who did a whole lot? Ethan. Oh wait, sorry, he didn't do a whole lot -- he just decided to have a PERSONALITY for once! He befriended the victim of his car accident, an unpopular West Bev student named Rhonda, and blew off Annie plus play practice to start expanding his circle of interests. All very good steps to developing this character. Still, it would have been great if we knew who this guy was before the crash -- as he claimed, the 'crash changed everything'. What did it change? He was one-note before, so it's kind of like seeing a whole new character emerge into the series.

Annie was REALLY annoying this episode. She told her play director that she wanted to become a better actress, and the director -- obviously -- told her to study her craft, and take acting classes. Poor little Annie had to sook because she wasn't considered an expert yet! Annie was really immature. In fact, it's getting to the point that when something bad DOES happen to the girl, viewers won't feel very sorry for her. Not a very good thing for the main character to be so unlikeable.

I'm sorry, I usually don't review episodes this harshly, and I'm sure many people will disagree with my grade. But I really just could not get in to this one!
  • Dun dun dun dun dun....dun dun dun...dun dun dun dun....dun dun dun...

90210 will never reach the point its original series did in ratings or quality. This is pretty much as good as it is going to get with the show so if you were not a fan of this episode you should probably stop watching now.

I find it funny that they suggested Annie take acting class. Maybe someone should give Shenae Grimes that tip in real life.

The ending was a tearjerker and Jessica Stroup was doing an excellent job until the "ergo" line, which completely killed the show. This lead to an awkward segment that would never, ever happen with Adrianna confessing to the school her pregnancy.
  • all i can say is wow........ this episode was very exciting.....and revealing..... all i can say is props to the director........

OMFG!!!!!!! wow annie and eathan's relationship is crumbling now that eathan got into a car crash......like seriously what is eathan's problem... and he's hanging out with rhonda and she's freakin playin him... what in the world is going on in the 90210??????? and how dare ty's parents try to make adrianna give her baby up.... their also trying to tell her that she can't talk about the fact that she's pregnant.... or that the fact that ty is the father. If i were adrianna i would tell him that he was the baby's father but then i would say i don't need you, because he doesn't even want nothing to do with adrianna let alone her baby..... and silver's got some serious balls the wa sshe bucked on christina... that part had me laughing and what made me relieved was when she finally told dixon she loved him and the got back together i was so excited i cried..... can't wait to see next weeks episode.....

Annie and Ethan's relationship begins to crumble when Ethan finds himself spending a lot of time with Rhonda. Meanwhile, Adrianna and Naomi devise a plan on how to tell Constance about the pregnancy, and Silver and Dixon have yet another confrontation. Wow. I didn't think the cliffhanger was done well. I liked the resolution though. I loved that Ty's parents were so understanding! That's great, since Adrianna's mom is pretty uptight. Shenae Grimes is such a good actress, and she's pretty too! Adrianna's 1st sonogram! Woohoo! Not a bad episode at all. I enjoyed it. Rhonda and Ethan are a lot like Glenda and Brooke on OTH. Good episode, though. :)
