  • Annie/Emily plot keeps getting worse. Someone strangle the crazy chick already!

This Annie/Emily plotline is so riddiculous it actually hurts the show. I mean.. all last season Annie was an outcast, treated horribly by her ex-friends for something she didn't even do. And even though she said she didn't do it, nobody believed her only to be "sooo terribly sooorryyy" later when they found out she really didn't sleep with Liam and was abused by a psycho boyfriend.

I mean, do characters in 90210 have the memory of a fly? There's this new chick who's saying all bad things about Annie and nobody believes Annie.. AGAIN! Like Annie all of a sudden turned into this evil room-wracking, bad coffee making devil and everyone believes it for no apparent reason, even her own mom! That's just terrible. I generaly don't like plots where the audience is treated like they have 60 IQ so I will give it another shot next week, but if things don't start getting better I'm fastforwading any scenes with Annie/Emily plot in it.

The Navid/Silver/Adrianna plot, on the other hand, is quite entertaining and more believable. I don't exactly like the way Adrianna's character goes, but it makes alot more sense.

Naomi is my favorite of the bunch, so it comes as no surprise that I liked her in this episode.. and I like Max, even though it was obvious that either it would take her 10 episodes to profess her love to him or he would turn her down. But I'm excited to see what's next.moreless
  • Pretty good episode with my fav band, Avi Buffalo's song so it went from good to great!

So frustrated watching the whole Emily thing. Why can't the friends and boss tell she is manipulating them! I am liking the gay story line. I would really like them to go on with this and how the friends react and evolve with this new knowledge. But what really got me about this episode!!! I am watching along and then I hear this song I know and love! Avi Buffalo, an indie band from Long Beach, CA on 90201. Their song, "What's In It For?" was played after the Pot Dispensary scene as they are walking outside and to the metro. I love their music and have seen them live in LA a couple of times. The music video for that song is awesome. It is very 60's psychedelic with lots of CGI. There are lots of youtube videos of the band and of the head guy, Avi Zahner Isenberg (what a name, but he is very cute) doing his songs on his guitar alone. These guys are young, like in their late teens and early twenties. I think Avi, the songwriter, is like 20. Would love to see 90210 fans rally behind this band and get more of their of music on the show. "Truth Sets In" would be perfect, if you show writers and/or producers are reading this!moreless
  • It's High Time...

90210 remains ridiculous. The implausibility of everything that happens is really hitting new levels, but nevertheless, it is still stupidly entertaining. This episode was actually an improvement on last week's mostly because it drove the plot slightly more. The Annie/Emily story is reaching new levels of ridiculous. I'd love to meet these ridiculously fickle people that they write in this show, that don't believe a word that their friend of 2/3 years is saying, over that of a complete stranger that has clearly shown she is a bit off the reservation. That MAJOR point aside, at least it provides some laughs (her mum not even believing her despite acknowledgement several episodes ago that she knows Emily is essentially mental? LOL worthy if I do say so myself). Also I would really like to know at what point Annie is going to realise that she simply has to walk down the hall in her house to talk to Dixon and hatch a plan to get rid of the psychopath, as has absolutely no reason not to believe her given that he doesn't like Emily either!?

Moving on, Naomi is trying to get into college by getting guys half naked and is still crushing on a nerd who speaks Latin. Amazingly that was about the most plausible story line in this episode because the notion that Navid would sign a release form on that footage just to TRY and distract Adrianna from MAYBE by some magic (oh, no, wait. She obviously has the cast of CSI on speed dial to find out who owns the earring. Silly me!) finding out who's earring it is was just too far. Why would you help someone that is just so thoroughly unlikable get any kind of career going just to avoid her finding out you made out with her friend!??!? Furthermore, it was actually pointed out in this episode that they're almost done with school so a bit of drama really wouldn't bother you that much.

Also, Teddy is gay and his friends are awkward about it. Ivy has the shadiest doctor in the world who not only hands out weed like it's water but has absolutely no trouble giving it to a 17 year old. Even if that were somehow possible, surely you can not get medical marijuana when you are 17 without major supervision if at all? So ignoring the fantastic flaws in basic human logic that sums up another episode of 90210. It's absolutely awful, but I have to watch it. It's just too fun!moreless

Great episode of 90210 tonight, we got a lot of substantial development (like always) and we just got a lot of great scenes in general. From the cat fight between Annie & Emily to Adrianna finding out about Silver & Navid through a very interesting way, it was just awesome.

I still don't like how they're reusing story lines though (i.e Emily making Annie's life miserable, similar thing happened last season with Jasper.) but it's entertaining nevertheless. It was amazing to see how supportive Liam was of Teddy and how hilarious was that reality show promo.

I didn't think I was going to like Ivy's new love interest or story line considering how unrelated she is to the show nowadays, but I liked her interactions with Raj (way better than Oscar, let me tell you that much). Overall, great episode with some eventful scenes, and entertaining story line.moreless
