Harry & Debbie confess that Harry has a son to their kids, with some crazy results. Annie starts acting out, and gets drunk at Silver's slumber party. I gotta say, Annie being drunk was hilarious, even when this show was trying to be serious, it was just hilarious. Shenae Grimes acting drunk, I think was the funny part. Ethan & Annie start a secret relationship. Navid & Adrianna's relationship grows but hits some road blocks when Adrianna thinks that she "owes" Navid somehow, since he paid for her rehab. So she insists on having sex with him. By the end, they don't have sex, and they make up. I'm beginning to really like their relationship. Naomi continues flirting with Aussie, he doesn't want to play games apparently. Kim & Ryan continue their relationship, as Kim continues with her work. They get in hot water, when someone sees them. Since everyone thinks Kim is a student, Ryan has to take a leave of absence. Their plot has been the most enjoyable lately for some reason. Cliffhanger: Naomi finds out about Annie & Ethan in the end, so we don't know what Naomi is going to do next. A solid episode, so iffy acting, from Shenae Grimes who plays Annie, but still a good episode.
Silver tries to have a girls' night with a few friends, but the event quickly ends up turning into a house party. Harry and Debbie tell Annie and Dixon about their older half-brother who was given up for adoption. Dixon, who does not appear upset by the news, wonders about his real family. However, the news bothers Annie and she takes out her anger and frustration at Silver's party. Annie and Ethan decide to keep their relationship a secret from Naomi who tries to get closer to Ozzie. Adrianna and Navid continue to grow closer and become a couple. George Evans (played by Kellan Lutz) sees Ryan and Kimberly together outside of school. Wow another awesome episode from 90210. I loved the storyline, amazing as always! Ethan and Annie finally together. I love George too, I wish he was in it more. Well cant wait to watch more of the show.
In this episode of 90210, the following happens. We open this episode with Annie and Dixon being told about Harry/Tracey's son who was given up for adoption. They are both shocked and upset by the news. Adrianna returns to school, after her spell in rehab. Silver organises a slumber party, for her, Annie, Naomi and Adrianna. When Harry finds out he tells Annie that she can't go. So she does what nay true girl would do, she sneaks out. At the party, the girls drinking and play a game of "I've never". Soon the guys turn up and so do a lot of party crashers. But soon Harry turns up and throws everyone out. He then finds Annie on the floor, having drunk way too much alcohol. Annie breaks down and tells Harry the truth about how she is feeling about having another brother. Before the party ends, Kimberley leaves and gets into a car with Ryan. One the students sees this and try's to blackmail Ryan.
So he goes to see Harry about it and Harry tells him that she has to take time off of work, at least until Kimberley has finished, as everyone believes that she is a student at the High School. The net day, Annie tells Ethan that she doesn't want to keep their relationship a secret any more. And so he agrees that they should go public with it. But they don't have to worry, as Naomi soon sees them together in a classroom.
Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely loved this episode. All of the story lines were great. I especially loved the whole story line with Silver having a house party. It was great seeing Annie, Naomi, Adrianna and Silver all together interacting with each other. I especially loved seeing Annie when she was drunk. Drunk Annie was absolutely hilarious! All of the interactions between Ethan and Annie were great. All of the interactions between Adrianna and Navid were great too. They're really great together. I'm so glad that we found out a little more information about Dixon's adoption. Ryan's story line was interesting too. The interactions between Ozzie and Naomi were amazing. I really hope that they eventually get together. In closing, I thought that this was an extremely well written, well acted and well made episode of 90210 from everyone involved, and I can't wait to see what happens next on 90210.
Silver hosts a house party. Starring: Rob Estes, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Dustin Milligan, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup, with Lori Loughlin, and Jessica Walter.
The traditional idea that a slumber party gets turned into a regular party. Not very original, but it worked. I had a couple of problems with the episode, one of which includes Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan) getting together i think that they did this sooner than they should have. I really liked Ty (guest star Adam Gregory), and thought that was a great dilemma that wasn't resolved. I also do not really enjoy Adrianna (guest star Jessica Lowndes) and Navid (Michael Steger). I feel like this relationship is really forced, like they are really trying to get people to like them together. So the only relationship that i am in support of is Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Auggie (guest star Michael Trevino) and the relationship between Mr. Ryan Matthews(Ryan Eggold) and Kelly Taylor (special guest star Jennie Garth). I am impartial to Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds). The arc with Kim McIntyre (guest star Jessica Lucas) is really good, especially with George Evans (guest star Kellan Lutz) finding them together, man oh man that is a really good story line. The final scene was as cliche as cliche can get, and i really did like it, because it wasn't just Naomi walking down the hall, it was a complete accident, and i really thought that it was done well.
I thought after last week's monstrocity 90210 would rebound but instead they fell even farther down the barrel. Too many lame jokes in this episode. One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl are able to incorporate some comedy into the dramatic moments, but 90210 just fails miserably.
Everything was just poorly directed and not intense or emotional. The scenes with Annie drunk were so brutal to watch. I don't know what the writer was going for here but absolutely nothing clicked. The show that many expected to be the savior of the CW is turning out to be one of the worst on its lineup.
This episode was on of my favourites so far. I must say the acting in this episode was much better tan some of the others. All even performances I think. I am really loving the love triangle between Annie/Ethan and Naomi. What is a teen drama without love triangles. The reactions from Annie, Dixon and Naomi to the news of their brother were all fitting to the character. Annie drunk killed me. I feel bad for Ryan. It's just as much her fault as it is his for getting caught together. I'm sure she has another person to call to come and get her. Did it really have to be him, the teacher, picking up her, the undercover cop, at a high school party with his students. I really love Navid/Adrianna and Ozzie/Naomi. Not a lot of Silver/Dixon. I liked that they finally told us more about Dixon's biological family and the story of how he came to live with the Wilsons. I am a total Annie/Ethan shipper and loved all their little moments together. Totally called Naomi seeing Ethan and Annie together. Great episode.
I can sit here and try to compare the show to the original 90210; at the end, there is no comparison. The original will always be better. This show on the other hand is creating it's own buzz. It certainly is up to date, showing kids using drugs and having sex; that is the real world. On the other hand it still has that 90210-feel, spoiled rich kids doing what they want. The bombshell dropped by Mr. Wilson was sure to make anyone mad. Annie is really hurt by it. Dixon seems to be cool with it, he should have sympothy for the other child. He, himself, being adopted. Annie in the middle of a love triangle screams the infamous Dylan, Kelly, and Brenda love triangle. I'm sorry but no triangle will be better than that one. This show would get higher ratings if a few more alum's popped up.
