All things considered, I absolutely loved this episode. I thought that this episode had a lot of great moments. Tabitha sure was a major scene stealer in every scene that she was in. She was absolutely hilarious in this episode. All of the story lines in this episode were great, especially Dixon and Silver's story lines. I also absolutely loved Naomi's story line in this episode. I especially loved her scenes with Ozzie. I really hope that they get together eventually. I loved seeing Ethan and Annie together in this episode. I think that they're really great together. The scene where Kelly was talking to Naomi and Annie about Sean's arrival was absolutely hilarious. Adrianna' storyline in this episode was interesting too. In closing, I thought that this was an extremely well written, well acted and well made episode of 90210 from everyone involved, and I can't wait to see more episodes of 90210.
Well this episode I didn't enjoy much. Has 90210 set the bar too high? 90210 has been really good these past few episodes, I think it started with "Hollywood Forever." Anyways, the episodes have been just getting better & better. And honestly, this episode was just so not up to par. Also this was considered the mid season finale, since there was a break right after this. Would this episode really keep you intrigued to tune in three months later? The end, there was a bit of a cliffhanger. I will give them that. Sean walks in to the Wilson/Clark's life. Prodigal son, or so you thought until the end when it turns out it's a set up. Uh oh for the Wilsons. Okay cliffhanger. Annie comes in to the realization that she's changed, and by reverting back to her old self, she decides to be a mascot for a day. That plot annoyed me for some reason. Dixon is jealous of Sean. Reasonable but predictable plot. Cheerleader interested in Dixon? Brenda tells Kelly that she slept with Ryan. Talk about burning a bridge. Naomi starts hanging with a new crowd: The Blend-its. She practically is being hazed by them in this episode. Sort of enjoyable to see Naomi suffer, like how they incorporated Aussie into the plot. Okay episode, weak as a mid season finale.
Annie and Naomi's feud reaches new highs, Harry and Debbie welcome Sean into their home and invite him to move in while Dixon feels jealous towards Sean. Kelly visits Brenda, but Kelly is shocked when Brenda reveals she slept with Ryan. Naomi branches out and begins to hang out with the Blendeds, a group of senior girls. Silver is threatened by Christina, a cheerleader for the lacrosse team, when she shows too much interest in Dixon. Ozzie makes Naomi an indecent proposal to impress the Blendeds. Wow, another awesome episode from 90210. I loved the storyline, I@m glad Annie stopped being like Naomi, was fun though. I dont like Sean at all, somethings not right. I loved teh way Dixon was like in this episode, well can't wait to watch more.
In this episode of 90210, the following happens. This episode picks up exactly where the previous episode ended. Annie takes, Sean her half-brother in to met Harry. So the party ends and the family get to know Sean. We also learn that Sean is in the Army. Soon Tracey shows up, to meet her son. Sean goes to stay with Tracey and Naomi. The next day at school, Annie and Naomi are called in to talk with the guidance counsellor, Kelly about what took place over the weekend, with Sean coming to town etc. As Harry and Sean spend more time together, Dixon seems to be feeling left out. Kelly and Brenda go out for lunch and end up having a bit of an argument and so Brenda leaves. During a La Cross game, Dixon walks off and so Harry go after him, to have a word with him. Soon harry realises exactly how Dixon is feeling about Sean, and the fact that he is staying with them, and with the family 24 seven. They have a heart to heart and it seems as tho0guh things may be improving, between the 2 of them. Brenda gets hurt and is taken to the hospital and Kelly is called to go there for her. Once there Brenda admits that she was trying to push her away, because she slept with Ryan. At the end of the episode Ryan makes a mysterious phone call, but to who?
90210 star Shenae Grimes is inviting critics of her skinny frame to meet her in person - so they can see she's not wasting away. There has been so much speculation about the size of the cast of the teen drama, older co-star Lori Loughlin felt compelled to speak out, recently insisting none of the young newcomers were battling eating disorders. And Grimes is particularly upset with the gossip - because nobody has asked her personally. She says, "Nobody has asked me about it. I really can't help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it. It's so frustrating. "Meet me in person, and you can't say anything. No bones sticking out. Just because people are calling you skinny doesn't mean I'm like, 'Yay!' No! You're telling me I don't look right. This is me, this is my body - I have accepted it."
I think this episode shows that 90210 is on the right track. I like that they didn't make the everyone instantly ok with son showing up for the first time. Dixon appropriately had trouble dealing with it which would be a natural reaction for someone in that position. I also like that they showed how even clean-cut Annie can change is a new environment. Finally, they are giving Jessica Walter some screen time. It is a crime she isn't used more often. This show can definitely use some tightening up, but this episode shows that it is on the right track,
Talk about a really weak episode. Just horribly written from the "fight" between Naomi and Annie, to the break up of Brenda and Kelly to Dixon's whining this was just an awful showing. The lacrosse game was one of the worst sports sequences I have ever seen on a television program.
The show desperately needs to stop stealing from other programs too. Naomi's new friends are clearly a rip-off of Blair's group in Gossip Girl and the show going with the overly done love triangle is just such an easy way out.
There was actually a string of episodes that were really decent but 90210 is just really bad right now.
I really enjoyed this episode and thought it was well-written with some great lines in it. I was not surproised that Dixon was so jealous of Sean and I loved Tabitha, she is such great comic relief especially for the tense meeting of Sean for the first time.
I can't really see what Annie sees in Ethan though. He does not come across as the most appealing character to me. Loved Naomi worming her way in with the older girls though. That was great fun.
Overall this episode had some great moments, it moved the story along and left us with a great cliffhanger. Just who is Sean really and what is he up to?
The new brother is so cute. the call at the end made me really want to know what he is up to. Is he really their son, or is he trying to take them for what they are worth? he add some much needed drama. I hope dixson doesnt go after that girl she is slutty. I love silver and it would be tragic if they broke up.. Throwing up, i'm guessing that she is prego. I had to laugh when they went back to old 90210 drama brenda vrs kelly in the boy department. things are really heating up.
Wow, I really enjoyed this episode. Wow, the grandmother was trying to figure out how she could say she is 58 and she thinks that Sean will say that he is 5 years younger. Wow. I love Shenae Grimes. She is such a great actress. I loved the little therapy thing in Kelly's office. Haha.
"By all means, have a seat." Haha I loved when the girl at the table said that. Naomi does NOT look like a sophomore, unless she got left back, possibly more than once. I'm really enjoying the show so far. I loved when Kelly gave Brenda a plant and Brenda said, "Hey, didn't this come out of your office?" Haha, great episode, definitely.
