Well this episode was decent, all things considered. We find out from Silver about Naomi & Ethan's bubble, that Annie will never penetrate. Once Ethan stands Annie up for Naomi. Annie pursues Ty. Dixon & Silver start dating. Dixon gets a job. Naomi's father continues to cheat on her mother, Tracy. Which coincidentally brought Ethan & Naomi back together again. Naomi finds the girl he's cheating with: Gail. And it turns out it's more than just a meaningless fling. Then Tracy thinks it's serious. Ugh, she annoyed me. Silver doesn't know whether to post Naomi's discretions on her blog. Kelly & Ryan continue to date, and we find out that Dylan is the father of Kelly's baby. Did not watch the original 90210, so it didn't any effect on me. Nothing was bad about this episode, but nothing really stood out to make this episode memorable. Overall, I would have to say episodes like this turn out to be forgettable. So that's why it's just "eh" for me.
  • Enjoyable to watch, yet again.

Tabitha and Brenda co-direct the school musical and Brenda confronts Kelly about Kelly's continued feelings for Dylan, her son's father, and her involvement with Ryan, Nat hires Dixon for a job at the Peach Pit to ease his worries about the family's financial situation. Naomi confronts her father's mistress, Gail, and she is shocked when she learns Gail will be moving into the family beach house. Annie agrees to a date with Ethan, only to be disappointed when Ethan doesn't show up and gets back together with Naomi. Another awesome epidoe from 90210. Another great storyline, I loved it. I have to say not a big fan of Ty, but who knows. Can't wait to see more of 90210.
  • Dixon gets a job

In this episode of 90210, the following happens. When the drama teacher has to take a leave of absence due to family problems, the play may have to be cancelled. But when Harry's mother, Tabitha, hears about this, she volunteers to help out. Naomi begs Silver not to blog about her father's affair. Tabitha attends the first of the rehearsals and criticises all of them. Annie begs her father to try and find another director for the school play. Harry asks Kelly if she knows anyone who might be able to help out with the play and she instantly thinks of Brenda. When Tabitha learns of this she gets upset and feels as though Harry doesn't think that she can cope, but she soon gives in to him. Dixon gets a job at the peach pit, but doesn't ask his parents before he does so. When they learn about it, they aren't all that happy that it wasn't discussed with them first. They allow him to keep the job as long as it doesn't interfere with his school work of La Cross. We also learn in this episode, that Ethan's brother has (at least from what I can tell) Autism. After Brenda videotapes the rehearsal of the play, Tabitha can see how hard she is being on Annie, and just Annie. Naomi goes to see Gail and soon learns that she is living in their family beach house. So when Naomi returns home she tells her mother about this and her mother is upset by it. We also learn that Sammy's father is Dylan. Dixon's father, Harry soon learns about Dixon when he fails a paper due to his job at the peach pit. So Dixon comes clean about why he really needed the job and he and his father come to an arrangement. Silver tells Naomi that she isn't going to be posting anything on her blog about her father's affair. Annie and Ty make up and end up kissing in the school hall. Naomi and Ethan decide to give their relationship another chance.

This is the 4th episide I've seen and I'm still liking this show. Too many different stories, but all of them were very interesting and there are two things that stay with me.

Naomi is right. She has all the money and the beauty but she just can't get her father to love her mother. She was very brave to go talk to her father's mistress but it was worse, she only got more hurt than she was.

The Kelly and Brenda dynamic is still good. I remember when they were rivals and didn't talk to each other. I'm glad they were able to overcome that and forget the past and let their frienship survive.

My favorite character is, like her sister was back in the 90's, Erin Silver. She's the girl who in theory has everything, but lacks love and when it seems that she will take the wrong path of life she struggles to fill the void relying on her sister and doing the right thing for the people she cares about. The other thing that stayed with me: The great advice Dixon gives Erin. Men forget and move on, women don't. Life's too short to spend it remembering the past and suffering for it. We should all learn from this.

Let me just start off by saying that all things considered, I absolutely loved this episode. My two favorite story lines from this episode were definitely Tabitha's and Naomi's. Although, I thought that all of the story lines in this episode were great. It was really nice seeing Tabitha heavily involved in a story line. Tabitha was absolutely hilarious in this episode. This episode really made me begin to like Naomi. I felt sorry for her in this episode, and I loved the scene with Naomi, her dad and his mistress. I'm so glad that Naomi apologized to Silver for telling everyone about her father's affair with another woman since she's now going through a very similar situation. I also really liked Ryan in this episode. In my opinion, Ryan Eggold plays the role of Ryan Matthews really well. All in all, I thought that this was a very well written, well acted and well made episode from everyone involved, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more episodes of 90210 in the future.
  • just the reminding of HIS name makes this episode better than previous ones :)

Dylan, Dylan, Dylan... I can write this name for thousands of times and even more! I was so into him few years ago, and was always rooting for their couple with Kelly. and now it's official: Dylan is the father of Kelly's son!!!

okay, it was the main and most pleasant part... another issue that I am interested in is why the girls think Ethan is hottie??? I mean look at him and than compare him to Ty... so who's the winner??? the answer is obvious -- TY! so it's hard for me to explain Annie's behavior. what is she thinking about?

FAVE SCENE: Kelly & Brenda talk about Sammy's father.

FAVE QUOTE: Debbie: How hard can it be to find an acting coach in L.A.? I could throw a rock through a window and hit an actor.

Interesting episode, not much really happened in this weeks eppy. Annie is trying to juggle two guys, Ethan and Ty. She turns Ty down, and has a date with Ethan. It's going to get screwed up though, because Naomi will go to him for some comfort when her family life gets screwed up. It's awesome, like watching a train wreck. Ya just can't look away. Gramma Tabby is directing the school play, because apparently the original director begged off. Packed up and moved away or something, doesn't anyone find this a bit fish? Originally Annie's pretty happy, but Gramma keeps baggin' on her and she begins to get frustrated. I guess there's a reason for those nepotism rules in the workplace. Working with a family member can certainly create severe issues. Dixon gets into a spot of trouble, when he knocks the rear view mirror off the side of a posh car. He's going to try and fix it himself. Hee ... this should work out well. In addition, didn't something similar happen to Brandon? Anyway ... there's our intro to the Peach Pit. Where Dix is going to get a job, so he can work off his debt. All the while Dix is trying to keep this from his dad, because he doesn't want to get lectured. Hey ... I don't blame the kid. Good episode, if a little bit dry. I'm nearly sick of Naomi and her overly dramatic life. Heh ... annoying.
  • Naomi and Ethan get back together.

It looks like 90210 is quickly establishing its niche as a must-watch show and is staying true to the original format that made the predecessor successful. Shenae Grimes and Annelynn McCord continue to give strong acting performances and do the best with some of the outlandish dialogue their characters are given. Jessica Walter was given time in this episode and resulted in some strong comedy. I wasn't a fan of Shannen Doherty on the original show or here, but Jennie Garth is still fairly entertaining and I think we all want to find out what happens next.

A pretty good episode from the folks at 90210 and besides Ryan Eggold there were very few flaws here.
  • Annie doesn't know who she wants, Naomi doesn't know how to get what she wants and Ethan is somewhere in between. Dixon has to work and Silver has to stand her bad storyline. Finally Brenda is back and tells us the name we wanted to hear!!!

7 days after the bowling night 90210 is back in business. Annie is neither with Ethan nor with Ty. Though Ethan invites her to a date/meeting, she finds out, that there's no space for her in Ethan's bubble with Naomi(according to the very creative episode title). While Naomi does her best to f**k up the affair of her father and to get back together with Ethan. Poor Annie, seems there's no boyfriend for her... We feel with her(or not?).

Dixon accidently damages the car of another student and has to work to be able to pay back the damage. Because of the bunch of time he invests in earning enough money, his school works suffers a bit which makes his Daddy. Not to mention that Silver flirts with him, and YES... it does sound weird.

In between of all this trashy drama Brenda talks to Ryan, because he wants to know more about Kelly's past. Kelly doesn't like that and acts angry. Brenda takes her to task and names the father of her son.

Also granny Wilson has a small, cute and depressing storyline. But except of drinking, having car accidents or cynically commenting on others doings, she tries to direct the high school musical(not THE hsm, but the BH HSM). When father Wilson discovers, that trying to establish grandmother was a bad idea, Brenda helps out and everything turns out to be fine.

All in all not the best of 90210 we've seen so far. Potential of the show still doesn't get used and the titles of the episodes are so NOT creative. Basically the show is on the right track. But some things take to much time, so I ask myself: When will the screenwriters and producers realize that Shenae Grimes is NOT the best actress of the show? When will the screenwriters realize that Jessica Stroup has the most interesting character? When will the producers realize that Shannan Doherty is worth her money and worth more screentime? Jenny Garth needs here to act good. Let there be Brenda - for more than just 4 episodes.
  • The only big news was that Dylan is Sammy's father.

I think for true fans of Beverly Hills, 90210, this was probably a pivotal moment for them, but it was no surprise to me that Dylan McKay is the father of Kelly's son, Sammy. I mean, think about it. If Brandon were the father, wouldn't Brenda refer to herself as "Aunt Brenda" in front of Sammy and anyone that she talked to? So surprise! Wow give away the farm now why don't you 90210?! Now what are you going to have be the big mystery the rest of the season? Naomi's father's mistress moving into the beach house? (gasp) or what would be super sweet is if Naomi's mother killed the mistress - that would be classic BH90210!
  • A good example of why this show is a drama show.

First of all, I loved the characters' fashion sense in this episode. Especially Naomi's, she really stood out with amazing clothes that looked good on her. Annie and Silver were awesome too.

At the beginning of the episode it seemed like Annie and Ethan were checking out how each other's relationships are going to maybe get together. Loved that.

I loved Silver and Dixon in this episode, I hope they get together and they have started to walk that road. Good choice.

It was sort of painful to watch Naomi being hurt, when she has hurt so many other people, it just didn't seem right that now she suddenly acts like a human being. I'm kind of ashamed to say this, but I actually liked her and Ethan at the end of the episode, they showed us what their relationship was like before the series started. That was cool.

Tabitha singing was hilarious, one of the highlights of the episode, she just seems so eccentric!

Ty, Ty, Ty... I hated him in this episode, sure maybe Annie had other plans, but that doesn't mean he has to go all like that on her! The kiss was amazing though. he's going to 'cause some problems, in my opinion.

I also think that Naomi's mom might have been speechless about the beach house for another reason. Maybe she has something hidden there that she doesn't want people to find?

A really good episode, keep them coming, CW!
  • dixon follows in brandons footsteps. tabitha realizes somethinga about herself, and brenda blurts out the identity of sammys father!!!!!

    "Good"
okey so i havent been the biggest fan of the show, and i'm not saying i am now, but it's really picking up, but still no way near the greatness of the original show...

the chemisrty between dixon and silver is awsome, if there is one couple on the show i like, it's these two, on another note, jessica looks a lot older than tristan, and it doesnt (to me) look like they could be the same age, let alone be in the same class....

ethan/naomi/annie: these three have no chemistry what so ever. i'm beginning to think that ethan and annie are the type of couple that are destined to be thogether but that there will always always be factors in their life that will keep them apart(kelly and dylan flashback anyone?) but they dont have any chemistry, so for me it wouldnt be such a big deal if they didnt end up together. ethan doesnt have much chemisrty with naomi either. but he has an interesting story, he seems like a character with depth. naomi however doesnt, she is as shallow as she comes of....and homestly that actress isnt any good, she keeps making this poutylip face that is seriously unattractive!!

brenda/dylan/kelly/sammy: am so happy dylan is the father of kellys kid, i was always a big fan of them, and was so happy that by the end of the original show they were together.however they were trying really hard not to say his name throughout the whole episode, like they knew they were on tv and couldnt reveal it until the end of the show. BUT i loved how brenda just blurted it out. when it comes to the conversation that brenda had with ryan, i dont think she said anything that wasnt in her place to say, she just told ryan that there was a long history, nothing to get upset about really.

ryan: dont really care much for him, is there ANYTHING he DOESNT DO?

tabitha was great, i felt a little sorry for her in the end, but she was great, her song was awsome!!!

i know a lot of people say that this show cant be compared to the original show, but i dont see how that can be, i mean i realize its alomost 20 years later, but the main plots of the new show are very similar to the original show. midwest family moves to beverly hills, boy takes job at the peach pit, and also is intressted in journalism, girl is falling for the bad boy, and is into acting. there are bunch of other similarities, but i mean we can all se that althoug they've called it a spinoff, it has lot of the qualities of a remake....

i think i need my other shows to air really soon, am thinking i'm growing tired of all the teendramas that the cw has to offer...
  • Wow this was probably the best episode of the new show so far!!

For those of you who have seen the original series who else was thrilled to find out Dylan is the father of Kelly's son, Sammy!! I think they are really meant to be. For those of you who haven't seen the original series you definitely should watch it because truthfully I think it is better than the new series. It was nice have Brenda back on the show and I really hope they bring more of the original cast back soon! I was happy to hear that Donna has a baby and hopefully she and David are still together. I also liked that Nat was back on the show, the owner of the Peach Pit. Overall it was a pretty good and revealing episode and I'm looking forward to next week's!!
  • Predictable.

    "Mediocre"
I think they are trying too much with this series. It's so predictable. I pretty much knew what was going to happen before it happened. The stuff with Annie and Ethan were predictable. I knew he would wind up back with Naomi. Then Annie would run back to Ty.. How awful is she though? When she found out she couldn't have Ethan she runs to Ty so you know eventually if the show lasts this long Ethan and annie will get together at some point. I think the writers need to do something fast otherwise 90210 isn't going to last a full season.
