First, let me start off by saying, I like this show, it's pretty good. So I'm not a hater or anything. I just honestly didn't think this episode was up to par. This episode gave me such a headache, I disliked every plot. I maybe liked Silver's plot just a tad, but all the other plots were utterly awful. From Liam asking out Annie while he was on a date with Naomi to Naomi's sister: Jen coming to town. This episode was the worst of the worst. I cringed in almost every scene. Especially that scene between Ethan & Jen. "I wont tell Naomi, I was your first." Ugh, that was terrible. The Wilsons have to deal with Naomi living with them. Silver's plot was probably the only slightly decent plot. Silver wants to start fresh, leaving Dixon behind, in the dust. Until she meets Angela who makes her confess her sins by fasting. No plot development, since basically we're back to square one. Things would have been the same, if not better at West Beverly. Navid & Adrianna are such dreamers. When their dreams are shattered, Navid moves in to Adrianna's house. To raise the baby. When is this couple going to come in to the realization, that their plan is absolutely ridiculous. So there you have it. I definitely did not enjoy this episode. And if you're new to the show, do not watch this episode first.
While moving into the Wilson's home temporarily, Naomi discovers that her dramatic older sister has returned to town. Elsewhere, Adrianna and Navid tell their future plans to his parents; and Annie is set up with Liam's friend by Naomi on a double date. Another great episode - however I don't really like the fact that Adrianna and Navid are getting married but I'm not that bothered at it. I love the fact that Naomi and Annie are friends, good friendship really. So double dates - was very fun. I found the scenes in Silver's new school too funny, well the first scene anyway. Can't wait for the next episode of 90210, hopefully will be better than this one.
i just wanted to say that the actors on this show are sooooooooooo bad. ive been watcing from the start and holy crow is annalynne bad, that "freakout" scene was sooooooooo bad, and who is that wierdo playing her sister??? she was even worse. i thought that maybe they would improve over time, but they just suck as much as they did in the beginning.
the storylines are so over and done with!!!!! the 16 year olds getting married, so many shows have done this, most reacently one tree hill(remember haley and nathan people???) and the "my boyfriend lost his virginity to my older sister" thing (one tree hill has been there done that)and why would this matter now that ethan and niaomi are over?????? and liam.... did it come as a shock to anyone that he asked annie out(if it did, i dunno what to say) he's 16(or supposed to be) dont 16 year olds date around??? isnt it normal????
seriously the only thing this show has going for it is the storyline with silver and dixon, this one is actually quite good. that christian girl was a bit over the top, but what the hey, what isnt over the top on this show(mainly annalynne's performance!!)
Okay, I really love the idea of Liam/Annie coupling since I was really sick with the way of Naomi's attitude just to take Liam's attention, waaaay too much like a whore...
And that Catholic School Girls thing????? OMG!! I mean, I've been into a catholic school since elementary school until now; Senior High School. And I've never EVER gone crazy of those religious thing such as fasting and pep talk about Jesus and heaven.
It's not that I don't believe in them. I'm a catholic and this episode make a catholic school such a lame thing and the last place to go.
In this episode of 90210, the following happens. We open this episode with Adrianna and Navid discussing baby names, and what type of baby, the baby will be. We also learn that Navid thinks that Adrianna is having a boy. Silver starts at her new Catholic school, and soon sees that everyone there takes their religion very seriously. Adrianna goes round to Navid's for a meal, and informs his parents that she is pregnant. It does not go down well to say the least. Then when they learn that Navid isn't the baby's biological father, things just get worse. Liam, his cousin, Annie and Naomi all go out on a double date. At the end of the date when they are alone, Liam asks Annie out, just the 2 of them for a meal together. Navid's parents tell him that he can't marry Adrianna. Annie tells Naomi what Liam said and Naomi thanks her for telling her. Soon the whole family tell Annie that they need to sort out Naomi and that he needs to leave. The next day when Naomi asks Liam, he admits that he asked Annie out. Soon people staring finding out about Silver's past and her video with Dixon. Navid comes round to Adrianna's with his bags and announces that he is moving in with her, so that they can be together. When Navid proposes again to Adrianna, she comes clean and tells him that Ty is the father of the baby. On hearing this Navid flips out, but soon when he hears her crying he comes back in and re-proposes to her. After learning the truth, he still wants to marry her. Soon Naomi's sister Jen comes into town. And Jen announces that she and Naomi are moving out and are now going to be living together, until everything with their father is sorted out. Silver sends out an email to everyone at her new school about her sex tape and about her condition, after the girl who found out said that she would fast until Silver came clean. At the episode ends we see that something went on between Jen and Ethan and as she leaves she whispers in his ear "Don't worry I won't tell Naomi that I was your first".
I'm really just going to focus on the Silver/ Dixon storyline. When the episode began, I was on Dixon's side, not completely, but I understood where he was coming from. He had to face the whispers in school and he did. I agreed that Silver shouldn't run away. upon more thought, however, I came to a realization. While Dixon may have had to face embarrassment and whispers for a time, they will stop one day, and he will be fine. It's Silver that has to wake up everyday, look at herself in the mirror and have that inside her. She's the one who has to live everyday terrified that anything can bring her right back to those tracks. She is the one that has to question every emotion and thought because she can never really know if it's her or the disorder. So Dixon needs to understand that while he had to face some embarrassment too, he'll never know the terror that comes along with having a serious problem like Silver has. I was so proud of Silver at the end of the day, because it was so hard for her to give up that anonymity and subject herself to that torment while she's already got so much living inside. I'm just really angry at Dixon for constantly assuming that since his mom had it, that he's some expert. He can never truly know what it's like to have those types of demons and he shouldn't be judging her so harshly. He's just being really immature and selfish.
You know how a teacher would reprimand you, fail you or even suggest expulsion if you copied work from someone? Why is it that every single week 90210 feels the need to repeat storylines from One Tree Hill some that were not even that good in the first place? Navid and Adrianna getting married at 16, the exact same age as Nathan and Haley? I doubt that is a coincidence.
And I could tell from the moment Jen said "Hey, Ethan" what was going to happen. This is another Naley storyline where it was revealed that Nathan lost his virginity to Haley's sister.
Are they even trying anymore? I can only imagine how bad the new Melrose Place is going to be.
Naomi convinces Annie to go on a double date. Naomi's older sister Jen returns to Beverly Hills. Silver begins Catholic school, and Adrianna and Navid decide to tell his parents about their decision.
I do not understand the episode title. It sounds like The Big Bang Theory. Anyway, I loved the scene in the beginning when Navid wanted to name the baby Habeeb and Adrianna said that she would make fun of him. Annie looked mad hot in that dress Naomi bought her. The girls in this show are so hot. :) Matt Lanter is sexy. Rawr. I enjoyed this episode. Yet another good episode from the 90210 crew. Only three more episodes until the season is over. :(
