So in this episode, some arcs close, some new arcs begin and a new character is introduced: Ivy Sullivan. She seems like a solid character that might be more thee dimensional in the future. Usually new characters annoy me, this wasn't the case. Naomi has a crush on Jamie while she is with Richard. Richard is her key to CU, so she has some things to figure out when she has to choose love or school. Adrianna spent the whole episode moaning and complaining about her life. It was kind of pathetic. Liam meets Ivy when she rear ends his car and doesn't apologize because she assumes it's his fault. It turns out she is on the surf team, and she is pretty good. There is a surfing competition, and Liam & Ivy battle it out for a board. They become friends in the end, Naomi sees them together and chooses love when she realizes she needs to get over Liam the right way. She needs to be in a real relationship. Harry & Debbie continue to have marital problems when Harry calls off lunch with Debbie to have it with Kelly. Silver spends all her time worrying about her dying mom, and she is overwhelmed. Teddy shares the same experience and they become friends. Jasper & Annie have become an item, and Jasper is making a movie. They have to steal a car for a scene. Looks like Annie's falling in to a bad influence. I still like their relationship though. Dixon breaks up with Sasha when he's tired of keeping their relationship hidden. First let me start off by saying, the whole Halloween special feel that this episode had, brought the rating down. I loved Annie/Jasper! Even though had a small amount of scenes, I loved it. I love how their relationship works. Two outcasts joined together. I loved to see Annie happy for like the first time this season. Although you still have to see that Jasper is a bad guy. Stealing a car. Yikes. Dixon vs. Annie scene upset me. They had such a great friendship last year, and I think they should make up. Sasha pregnant? We just finished a pregnant storyline last season! No thanks. Ugh Naomi making that face when she saw Liam. It's like she tells Liam to back off, goes with this other guy, likes his roommate. And she is still jealous of Liam and this girl Ivy. When they were just talking. No Adrianna development. The Silver/Teddy scenes were pretty good. The Harry/Kelly/Debbie triangle scenes were like the scenes that kept me intrigued. Kelly/Silver drama was pretty good too. A pretty good episode overall.moreless
  • We are introduced to a new character

    9.0
In this episode of 90210, the following happens. Silver begins to struggle with looking after her sick mother and coping with all of her school work. Soon everyone starts to get worried about her, but it is Teddy, who is the one who manages to get through to her and help her. Dixon deciders to end his relationship with Sasha, which makes her upset. Then as the episode ends, she goes to see him and tells him that she is pregnant. Things between Debbie and harry become more strained, and soon Harry realises that Kelly may actually have feelings for him, like Debbie said all along. Annie's character changes completely in this episode, and even commits a crime whilst out with Jasper. Liam meets a new girl called Ivory, and at first they don't get long. But by the end of the episode, it seems as though they may be a couple in a few episodes.moreless
  • OK, OK. I was so skeptical of this show before I watched the first episode months back. This episode is one of those reminiscint of the old series, with some new twists. Great character development :)moreless

    9.5
90210 is surprisingly shaping up to be one of my favourite T.V. shows at the moment. This episode focuses on several of the characters' subplots, giving room for character development. Continuing on from previous episodes, Dixons' secret relationship with Sasha runs its course as after most of the gang is attending a Halloween party, Dixon attends, after breaking it off with Sasha. Dixon realised that with their age gap and their hidden romance that they were unable to be a normal couple. Earlier on, Annie showed some growth, with a catty scene with Dixon in the kitchen; she has noticed Dixon going out at all hours. For once, he shuts up. Annie's spine is increased with the intensity of her (secretly) guilt - fuelled romance with the odd Jasper. He is unaware that Annie is the person responsible for his uncles' hit and run - yet that doesn't stop him leading her down the wrong path. You can see she is going to crash and burn again; I am just hoping that Annie truly sorts her issues out. Silver is beyond overworked. Taking care of her ailing mother and study had her overwhelmed, distancing her from not only her friends, yet also Kelly. It's okay, Kelly has her hands full with Harry, obvious by the phone call where he tells Kelly that Debbie suspects she has a crush on him. Kelly denies this, but if looks could kill.. Basically, Kelly hasn't changed. Naomi juggles her environmentalist friend with the crush that's mutual with his dorm-mate. Later, after Naomi spied Liam getting close to his surfing competition, a girl who cheated to kick his butt, Naomi resorts to calling the dorm-mate, and they get snuggly. No Navid, who was mentioned by Dixon to be avoiding the Halloween party because of the split with Ade. Ade is chirpy and quite with it after her split with Navid, even rocking up to the Halloween party dressed as Marilyn Monroe. The biggest surprise is Silver. Support-less, her sister and friends unable to understand Silvers' emotional need to help her mother Jackie, who is on respirators and close to the grave. In a surprise, Teddy, after the Halloween party, finds Silver and helps her to cope with her overloaded stress in a way even she never thought possible. The end… spoiler without being a spoiler… Oh, Dixon!moreless
