Was there any episodes that had an impact on you? Emotionally or otherwise. I would say Lena's speech in Do The Write Thing to her father. And also when Lena has a go at her friend in the Tupac episode.

The racism episode where Ron and Dwayne get into a fight at the Hillman game and the Mammy episode where Kim hates the image of Mammy.

i don't think i had a certain episode of impact for me, but for some time it seemed like they were all preachy to me. don't get me wrong, the show was good for a time and they did want african americans to embrace themselves, but i often thought sometimes they were overdoing it.

The "Mammy" episode was pretty powerful, as well as the one where Tisha Campbell played the student with AIDS.
