The holidays can be rough if you can't go home to your family. Just such a fate befalls Kim and Whitley. What to do, then?
Like any good students, they handle things with a big party. Only they're not supposed to be there: Kim uses fake IDs to sneak them into a club. Whitley does the rest, as she downs what she believes to be strong drinks and treats the crowd to her rendition of "Twist and Shout"--complete with a catapulting dance on top of a dinner table. Kim desperately tries to bail her friend out of it.
They might be in for a round of trouble, when Col. Taylor spots them; however, he turns out to be a blessing in disguise, as he sees them out safely and pardons their indiscretions.
Walter, in turn, plays good Samaritan and volunteers to drive home Freddie, Dwayne and Jaleesa. The latter has some unwelcome news, that of a breakup with her boyfriend. To Walter, by contrast, it's a beacon of hope--he's been interested in her for a long time.
What will the new year bring? Will Oakes find love? Can Whitley ever be trusted around beverages stronger than soda again? Only time will tell. In any event, this is a very funny episode with good performances all around, Whitley and Jaleesa especially. One to remember.
