A Different World

The center where Walter helps kids at risk is close to running out of money. How can they stop this disaster? It'll be hard to do, but Walter has a big heart, and he's not going to give up. So he turns to the power of television. Fund drives work for other good causes, why not this one? Oakes sets up a show which will present the performing arts skills of Hillman students and local residents.

Whitley wants to sing Josephine Baker, but finds her back-up dancers are enveloped in a feud of their own. Dwayne chokes up as his stand-up comedy routine gets underway. A modest number of callers help out, but the center is short of its goals.
