    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Lettie was a World War II spy after dropping out of Hillman. This means that she was approximtely 20 in 1945. That would make her about 63 years old when she returns to Hillman in 1988. Did they really intend for Lettie to be that old? Mary Alice was born in 1941; therefore her real age is 47.

      • Lettie states that when she was a student, she spent a lot of time at Gilbert Hall because it was a men's dorm. However, we learn that Clair Huxtable, Whitley's mom, grandmother and other FEMALE relatives lived in Gilbert. Even Mrs. Pruitt (the 92 year old alumnus in A Stepping Stone) lived there. So, when did Gilbert Hall have a chance to be a men's dorm?
