The episode titles always apply to multiple storylines, but this one was the best. We see the drowning man Michael saves, E-Mo and Kate and her adopted little sister all have to face life changing events. The drowning man literally has to get out of denial or die, E-Mo has to face the possibility of a life threatening illness and Shari her behaviors to stay on the court that also put her life in danger. Kate's blind spot is less dramatic in that it involves her attitudes toward Shari. I would add that it's pretty obvious that Michael cares deeply for Kate and I doubt she's aware of that - consciously anyway. You can toss in the basketball coach too whose intense pressure to perform has no doubt contributed to Shari's problems.
And then there's the big question which opened the episode: what is Michael's blind spot that he - again - avoids dealing with.
A most enjoyable episode. :)
