  • It was a very scary episode and all, I just...couldn't stay focus on it... Hmm... Don't know why. :/

Oh my gosh. I am SOOO glad I wasn't that family. It's a rude thing to say, but being off in a foreign land, in a huge house with things that go bump in the night?? Uh-uh. Not my idea of fun. Those poor girls. :( I especially pity the younger one. It was the most traumatic for her. I can't image living in a house designed and built to kill you. Who would do that?!?! That's sick. >:( But I did learn one from this episode. Oriental priest guys know what they're doing when it comes to dealing with paranormal things like that. Poor family. I'm glad they got out of they're finally. And I hope no one ever moves into that terrible house again.moreless
  • An awesome house in Taiwan. I mean, a beautiful, awesome house in Taiwan.

I am not that brave. When scary things begin to happen in this huge home I would not be the teenager up in her room in this gigantic house, alone in this giant house, doing homework knowing there were ghosts around. And being the only soul in the house, where do you think those ghosts were drawn to? To the unlucky teenager! Dad didn't believe in any of this but mom did so I question her loyaly in protecting her family! I was scared out of my mind watching this episode and even though they left the food for the ghosts and moved I would have been state side in a millisecond of the first bizarre happening. And I wouldn't have left my family alone!moreless
  • great episode

this episode changes gears, it happens in taiwan, so it's a change, we're used to seeing haunted houses in north america. i guess this kind of stuff happens outside of north america as well. the story is about an american family moving to a mansion in taiwan. they think everything's going to be fine as they move in. it turns out that this luxurious mansion have something to hide, something that might affect their lives. this family did a good thing at the end, they moved out right after the priest performed an exorcism. this is another great episode.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Nitpick: The large, hairy spiders that plague the family's house are said to be tarantulas, and the Chinese servant tells them that they come in pairs because they mate for life. However, no breed of tarantula mates for life; in fact, the male tarantula leaves immediately after mating or risks being attacked by the female. It seems likely that the spiders in question were some kind of wolf spiders, which are large, hairy spiders that are known to mate for life.
