Show Summary

A Home for Joe was a television comedy sitcom that aired in the United States in 1990, starring Oscar-winning actor, Robert Mitchum, as a homeless man who suddenly becomes a grandfather of four. After four rich children lose their parents, they find Joe Whitaker (Mitchum) living in an alley and ask him to pose as their grandfather. The children need Joe to fool a suspicious social worker (Roger Hightower), who wants to split up the family and send the kids to separate foster homes. The kids offer Joe a salary, food and a warm bed in a luxurious mansion.
