A Little Curious is the children's television show that aired on the HBO Family network from 1998-1999. Produced by Curious Pictures, Curious is a half hour show dedicated to teaching words and concepts in a unique, entertaining way. Each episode of the series was produced in one of three different varieties of animation: stop-motion, 2-D cel animation, or 3-D CGI. Recurring characters include Bob the Ball (a bouncing rubber ball), Doris the Door (a sleepy door), Little Cup (Bob's best friend), Mr. String (a very nervous piece of string), Mop (a rock loving mop), Plus (a stuffed dog), and The Shoe Family (a family of pairs of shoes). Each episode had a simple message presented in the show's title: "Near, Far " "Above, Below, Cover" "Front, Back, Side" "Rough, Smooth, Picture" "Light, Dark, Bubble" "Fast, Slow, Spin" and others. A total of twenty-nine episodes were produced in the first and only season of A Little Curious.
