  • A golf club trickster and a shady lawyer cause headaches for Inspector Frost

    "Good"
Frost is occupied with a drug dealer and his shady lawyer, with his new boss the Assistant Chief Constable looking over his shoulder in Mullet's absence. He's not really pleased when called upon by Mullett to investigate the theft of a friend's car from their golf club by a con man who's left a trail of broken hearts across England. Unexpectedly the two cases intersect and to his surprise Frost finds he may be involved in an international investigation into the drug trade. Not to mention an armed confrontation at the local courthouse.

(This is handled with more realism than the one at the end of episode 20 "No Other Love", in which Frost walks into a situation knowing he'll be dealing with a gunman but doesn't take the usual precautions.)

Melanie Thaw is impressive as the humorless Assistant Chief Constable who resolutely refuses to smile.moreless
