  • The beginning of the episode has George Toolan taking a fall that has him going to hospital. Frost has to get another copper to help him out, and that is "Razor" Sharp, whom some will recognize as Inspector Japp from the Poirot mysteries.moreless

Frost episodes combine humor with the mysteries, murders, thefts, and various other sins. The mood of the episodes have lightened over the years in spite of the various murders and serial killers. It seemed in the early and middle years' episodes, the ending was always gloomy for JacK Frost. This time his partner and friend, George Toolan, landed in hospital because of a bad fall trying to follow Frost's orders. At the end George is recovering from surgery for a brain hemorrage and other injuries. Frost has a severe injury to his hand, and Mary Toolan, George's wife, lets Frost have a verbal tongue lashing. But Jack's life isn't in the toilet. I enjoyed this episode. As usual the acting was good, and the story was well written.moreless
