AKA Trilogy-The American Boy. Noted cinematographer James Wong Howe filmed the introductions with Robert Young. The first film was a UCLA graduate film school student film.
"Skaterdater" was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Live Action Short of 1965. It won nine international film festival awards including a Palm D 'Or at Cannes.
A soundtrack album for "Skaterdater" was released on the Mira label (LP-3004) in 1966. Mike Curb did the score with Davie Allan and the Arrows performing "Skaterdater Rock."
