One of the better of the last shows. Saffy has been gone for a year, and she is returning. Her schoolmate, Emma Bunton, makes them all clean up the house, which, to the dismay of Emma, is done in a slowly matter. Bubble doe snot know how to use the vacuum, Patsy wants to organize a drawer, and Edina is figuring what to do. When Saffy returns, Edina notices that she has gianed weight. It turns out that she is pregnant. Edina's reply: "you better tell people...you don't want people to think you are fat."

I liked the screaming reaction that Patsy gave when she heard that Saffy was returning.moreless

    • Patsy: Eddie look, can I get away with this mouth? Eddie: Only in LA, darling. Patsy: A little bleeding around the edges? Eddie: It's hemorrhaging. Patsy: Oh damn. I'll have to see the collagen man today.

    • Eddie: Actually, can I say darling, you may be looking quite well, but not so thin yourself. Do I detect a slight thickening, sweetheart? You know what that is, don't you? Cruel genetic fate! You are turning into me! The sausage shape that comes to us all, sweetheart. It's you now! Saffy: It's a self-induced indignation. Eddie: Yeah, because you are now fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat! That word that has haunted me my whole life can now be a spectre to you! Oh yeah, I'm not the only bloater around here any more, am I, darling? Ohh! I mean, I know I might eat and drink a little bit too much, but what's your excuse, eh, lard-arse? How did you get so fat on aids rations? Saffy: I am not fat! I'm pregnant! Eddie: Pregnant? Saffy: Yes. Eddie: Darling. Saffy: What do you think? Eddie: Darling, I should think you should tell people as soon as you see them. You don't want them thinking you're fat!

    • Bubble: On the pages of the days! She comes!

    • (Patsy sits down on the toilet) Eddie: That's the Seeing-Eye toilet that one. Patsy: Oh yeah? Eddie: Yeah, it gives you a full wash and dry, tests you for diabetes, ohh whoooo. Patsy: In Bangkok you can get one that inserts a cigarette. (Patsy stands and the toilet flushes) Ohh, what happened? Eddie: You moved, darling. Patsy: I haven't moved since 1973.
