The second episode brings us yet another batch of well written jokes and lots of fun.

Eddy has to deal with her weight, and that's what makes this episode. Saffron is the old-self, normal girl who has to deal with her crazy mother. Eddy is obsessed with losing weight, but we can all see that she isn't going anywhere.

And it's hilarious how she can't do anything about it. Eddy's mother and Justin served a couple of good jokes, but nothing special. And Patsy, oh yes, Patsy, is amazing. I really love her character. She's even better than Eddy. Hilarious!

The liposuction dream scenes were also amazing. What can I say besides---a another amazing episode.

The introduction of both Justin and Gran. Sets up the adversarial relationships that Edina has with both characters. Eddy tries to lose weight when she feels fat, but kicks the plan into overdrive when she finds out that a very thin old friend is coming to visit. Has a crazy daydream of what her surgery would be like, but this is actually one of my least favorite fantasy scenes in it. I think the giant lips are disturbing to me. Patsy starts to become more of the character she will be for the rest of the series.

Super fuuny and subtle: When Edina is discussing being fat with Gran and Saffy in the kitchen Gran has a tea towel with pigs all over it thrown over her shoulder.

The series just gets better from the first episode.
