    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • During the end credits we see a short montage of Minnie Driver stealing the clothes from the sitting room and running out of the house. Notice this montage uses the same green filter used for the security camera shots for the panic room, obviously meaning all this action is being caught on the security cameras. So why didn't Patsy and Edina see the sitting room camera on the monitors in the panic room? Also why would someone put a security camera under the kitchen sink?

      • The scar on Sarah's neck from when Eddie burned her with the candle is now gone. From the look of it, it shouldn't have healed and turned to normal.

      • Eddie is talking to Saffy when Bubble climbs into the window. Based on her position on the couch, doesn't it seem reasonable that she would have seen Bubble coming in?

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Patsy: You know, darling, they treat stars as billboards. They're advertising, they're walking column inches. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, darling, darling, a business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know you're doing it but nobody else does.

      • Bubble: Oh, what a weekend I have had! Request, request, request. Elton John's invited me to his place in the south of France. I said "no thank you". His villa is like a half way house to the priory. Will I go and keep Elizabeth Hurley company? Will I buggar! Has she got no friends of her own?
Eddie: Who is this now? Who has she become?

      • Bubble: Minnie? Minnie Driver? Is it a dwarf?

      • Minnie Driver: Hi, is that Heat Magazine? Yeah, I got some pictures of Minnie Driver shopping. Yeah, she does look bloody rough.

      • Saffy: Mum you are just playing into the whole "panic culture". I hate it! The world is actually safer than it's ever been, in fact you're more likely to be hit by a bus.
Eddie: Oh yeah dear, that'd be ironic wouldn't it. Closest I've ever been to public transport and it runs over me.
Saffy: Even then there's no guarantee the bus wouldn't come off worse.

    • NOTES (3)

      • LOOK HARD: The keypad in the panic room shows the floorplans for the main floor, and the upstairs, but oddly enough shows nothing for the basement.

      • Several members of the AbFab staff begged Minnie Driver to appear on the show in both the 3rd and 4th seasons, but her schedule never agreed with the show. They finally got her to agree after an opening popped open while filming Will & Grace.

      • Apparently the back room has been a nuclear shelter, Patsy's room, a canned storage room, and now a panic room.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Eddie: This is Big Mother talking.
The show itself was meant to be a big kick in the behind to most reality television shows, all topped off with this funny reference to Big Brother.

      • Panic Room:
The episode makes several references to the 2002 film Panic Room.
