    "Superb"
This is the first episode I've seen of this serious, and everything about it is first rate. The concept (Botox-Paralox), the writing (jokes are packed in like sardines with a tremendous amount of imagination and cleverness), and especially the performances, which seem to be rendered by seasoned professionals. Also, it's interesting that women pull off this series as opposed to the standard male hero. I'm surprised that this premise hasn't been picked up by American TV, like so many British hits are, but I suspect it would be hard to duplicate the talents of some of the veteran performers as well as keep up the top notch writing. Extremely entertaining.moreless

    • Lumley almost cracks up laughing at Saunders after she takes off her neckbrace. You can see her parallox wear off for a brief second when she throws the brace on the table.

    • The shot of Bubble walking was used twice. Once on the web-cam, then again when Eddie and Patsy arrive at the office.

    ADD QUOTES
    • Eddie: Help Mommy up, sweetie, I got my foot stuck below a chakra.

    • Patsy (after her 'parallox' injection): I'm happy about that, can't you tell? Eddie: No. Patsy: Money well spent.

    • Mother: What is my e-mail address? Eddy: 'oldwoman@risk of being strangled by own daughter.com I assume.

    • Katy Grin: Hi, I'm Katy Grin! These are carpets! Come down now to Carpet Madness! It's carpets, it's madness, Carpet Madness! Carpet Madness now!!! Just carpets! It's madness, madness now! (Patsy's lips put over Katy's face) Sale starts Friday.

    • Gran: You used to have one of these when you were a girl. Eddie: Yeah, but I was never allowed on it. Gran: You were too big for it. You wobbled. Eddie: The scooter wobbles!

  • NOTES (4)

    ADD NOTES
    • This is the first Absolutely Fabulous episode to end with David Bowie's "Ziggy played guitar". Throughout series one, two and three, every episode concluded with the "This wheel shall explode" line from the show's theme song, performed by Julie Driscoll and Adrian Edmondson and by Marianne Faithfull in the two-part special "The Last Shout".

    • The majority of the home has been redone.

    • This episode gives prelude to the play Saffy writes.

    • This was the first in a new set of AbFab shows, inspired by Jon Plowman. Jennifer Saunders originally wasn't going to do any more seasons after "The Final Shout," but was convinced at the last minute by the cast and Plowman.
