Hmmm... so who do you think they were trying to appeal to in this episode? Males 18-49 for ratings? This being the first episode in a few months and with it being in a new time slot a lot was riding on this to see how things would go.
To give them credit it was a funny situation and the fact the boys were considering it was pretty humorous, but in general a very adolescent fantasy episode. They certainly didn't go wrong by using Olivia Munn as Nurse Nicole. When she dropped the bomb you could have heard a pin drop.
Unfortunately the whole rest of the episode was not humorous and predictable in so many ways. Abby and Olivia dealing with Olivia's mother. Billie and Zack returning the table. "I thought you had the receipt, I though you had it?" Predictable! Also Zack's misgivings about Nicole were totally baseless. They just turned the tide in a direction they thought the male audience would go for.
Disappointing for a show that off and on has showed some promise. To be honest this is not surprising though, what were they really going to do once the baby was born? Thanks for reading...
