According to their animals in the chinese zodiac, Zack (rat) was born in 1984 or 1985, Abby (monkey) was born in 1968 or 1969, and Davis (tiger) was born in 1986 or 1987.
In the pilot episode, the movie poster found just outside the spare room is Rita Hayworth's Gilda (1946). In this episode, it is replaced with Fred Astaire's 1940 musical film Broadway Qui Danse (aka Broadway Melody of 1940).
The flashback of Billie sneaking out of Zack's room and the actual occurrence in the pilot episode do not match. Ryan is wearing an entirely different outfit. A third person is no longer lying on the sofa in the flashback. Several items in the living room are also in the flashback that aren't originally in the pilot. Even the guys' reaction to Billie pointing out that the hooker in the video game's still moving is different.
Zack: Can you believe that guy? Davis: Yeah, he's like a really handsome Darth Vader.
Billie: Are people staring at me because I just broke up with the boss and accidentally got impregnated by a 22-year-old on a futon? Or, and this is the one I want you to say, because my hair turned out all bouncy and fun? Olivia: Actually, people are staring 'cause you've got a great big hunk of cream cheese on your boob.
(Billie enters nursery and finds Zack sitting with his back turned) Billie: Whatcha' doin'? Zack: Just smiling. Billie: (gasps) Oh my God! You're in the middle of going downtown in the alone train. Bye-bye.
Billie: I tossed [Zack's] room. Abby: You did not! Billie: Oh, but I did. I tossed it like a prison guard looking for crack.
Ryan: You're gonna close your eyes. We're gonna spin you around. Now, whoever you take a picture of, you gotta try and nail. Zack: Wait, wait, wha-- what if it's a dude? Davis: Just look interested in what he's saying. Guys looove that.
Davis: Good morning, porn star!
Olivia: (to Davis) Maybe I should just put a bag over your head, drive you to the middle of the woods, and we can talk there.
Davis: Actually, I enjoy the word jumble. I think I'd be really good at writing those. James: Are you finished? Davis: You mean, am I ifnished?
Zack: [Billie's] douche ex-boyfriend got me thinking that I am way over my head. Dr. Roland: Well, douche ex-boyfriends are known for their wisdom.

Beginning with this episode, Pooch Hall replaces Cory Hardrict for the role of Ryan. This marks Hall's first appearance in a recurring role for the series.
Episode Title: Memento is the 2000 Oscar-nominated drama film which stars Guy Pearce (Leonard) as a man who loses his memory and uses notes, photos, and other clues to track down his wife's killer.
When James asked Billie about Zack's siblings, she rattled off names of actors in the romantic-comedy film Sleepless in Seattle (1993): Meg, Tom, Bill, Rosie. Billie was referring to Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, Bill Pullman, and Rosie O'Donnell.
Billie: I was a prize in 'Wheel of Horny'. Wheel of Fortune is the long-running syndicated game show where players get a chance to win cash and prizes by spinning a giant wheel and solving word puzzles.
Ryan: That's hot. With his inflection, Ryan is echoing Hollywood celebrity Paris Hilton's popular catchphrase.
Davis: You can be like Ratatouille. Davis compares Zack, who is planning to go to culinary school, to Remy, the rat whose dreams of becoming a chef in a Parisian restaurant comes true in the Pixar animated film Ratatouille (2007).
