Accidentally on Purpose

As Zack and Davis visit Billie at her workplace, James learns that she and Zack have begun living together. James, seemingly concerned about Billie, questions her about the Zack's background. She then realizes that she knows nothing about the would-be father of her child.

Later at home, when Billie tries to start a conversation with Zack about his parents and hometown, he evades her and leaves the house. Billie runs to his room, goes through Zack's stuff, and finds an unfinished note addressed to her along with a photo of her taken before they even met.

She shows the note and photo to Abby and Olivia the next morning. They decide to investigate further to determine the story behind the items Billie found, so they go to the bar where she and Zack met and interrogate the bartender.

As it turns out, Zack, Davis, and Ryan were playing a game wherein Zack spins on a barstool and takes a picture of a random chick, whom he will try to sleep with. Billie ended up to be the girl in the picture.

Later, they look around Zack and Davis' apartment for more clues. They stumble into Davis, who recounts to Billie the morning after she and Zack hooked up. Billie learns that Zack has filed an application for something Davis doesn't want to reveal.

Davis leaves and confesses to Zack that he's busted for his secret about the application to the culinary academy in New York. James catches them at Billie's place and messes with Zack's mind regarding his ambition and his future with Billie.

During her session with Dr. Roland, Billie learns about Zack's plan to move out of town and his hesitation of bringing up their child together.

Back at home, Abby and Olivia tries to console Billie when Zack arrives and opens up to her. Billie confronts her about his decision to leave. Zack tells her that after seeing the ultrasound image of their baby, he changed his mind and decided to stay. Billie assures him that although it will be difficult, they will figure things out with regards to raising the baby.

Zack also reveals that he cheated during the roulette game at the bar and intentionally took a picture of Billie to be able to meet her. Later, as they are about to go to sleep, Billie suggests to Zack that they should keep the cigar claw their baby might inherit from Zack's uncle. When he doesn't answer, she goes up and looks into his room, worried that he might have left. Zack comes out of the bathroom brushing his teeth.
