  • Now that Billie and Zack are engaged they decide they must find mutual friends to hang out with. So they start with Abby and Nick and then Davis and Kaylee. Both situations don't work out to the point where Abby doesn't want to throw Billie's shower.moreless

    Unfortunately this show is trying to compete with three of the best comedies on television as part of the CBS Monday Night Comedy Block package. It was sort of like Hank on ABC with its three followup shows. Hank never had a chance. Accidentally on Purpose has produced decent numbers, but not to the level of How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, and The Big Bang Theory. So CBS has to be looking at that drop in the middle and making plans. Tonight's episode is a good example. This episode was good on its own. Somewhat entertaining with a few funny moments. I love the characters in general and especially Billie (Jenna Elfman) and Zack (Jon Foster) shine in their parts. The rest of the cast is good as well.

    The story is comfortable and has taken a nice direction, but there is just something missing and unfortunately I am looking forward to the return of Rules of Engagement which really seems to work better with the other shows on Monday night. Overall this show might do better with the move to Wednesday and less competition within its own station. Face it, currently House, The Bachelor, and Chuck all are on opposite this show. In a way Monday at 8/7C has really become the most competitive hour on television. Of course the move to Wednesday will put the show up against Idol, but less successful other shows otherwise. I think this show will get a renewal and we'll get to see the baby and their first year together. I guess the question will be where in the schedule the show will end up coming back in the fall of 2010. Thanks for reading...moreless
