Have you noticed the family has no last name? Or I have never heard it. I know Dana has a last name but never heard Jims. Maybe they do, I don't know, Does anyone else?

They haven't discovered that yet. Maybe we'll never find out.

It hasn't officially been announced on the show but it is probably Belushi.

It's basicly the Jim Belushi show, so it's probably Belushi.

However, in the episode, "The Green Mile," for those of you not using close-captioning, Jim's reflection calls him Jim Boyle. What's actually heard at the time is "Jim, boy," but the close captioning says "Jim Boyle."

Maybe they'll discover the last name in the series finale... or maybe they won't at all...

Well, I think Jim gets mistaken for a guy named Jim Mourning in an upcoming episode, at least, thats how it appears.

Same thing as "Malcom in the Middle". The familiy's last name was never revealed...

and I don't think it's Belushi, because in an episode (don't remember which) Bryan was Joking about ohter men named Jim and "jim Belushi" was one of them.

It's just part of the show. Probably a joke to us viewers. That would be funny if they reviewed it in the last scene of the series finale, perfect way to end it, with the reveal of their last name. At least Ryan has a last name, though.
