It isn't too popular, so they aren't rushing with DVDs. I know that the show is going in a sixth season, but they obviously don't have any DVD releases in plan.

I have emailed abc several times about this show, they always say that there are no plans for the DVD yet.  I really wish they would!

A lot of current and recently cancelled ABC shows don't have there DVDs out (8 Simple Rules, My Wife and Kids, Less Than Perfect, George Lopez, Hope and Faith) so it's not surprising that a show like this doesnt have DVDs out either. Currently there are no plans to release According To Jim on DVD but check tvshowsondvd.com every day for possible news articles for this show.

I would like to see all of ABCs recent comedies on DVD. Such as Hope and Faith, this, George Lopez, and Wife and Kids.

i agree with the above comment, ABC has a lot of good shows, but dont really advertise as much anymore...just desperate housewives basically....which is good, but these shows r also good.

Hey. First off i will make one thing clear. I dont post forums like this ever. And i likely will only be around for 1 or 2 posts.

I looked around after hearing rumors of Jim cancelling.......It is really too bad.  I am truly sad that he is going. This was about the last good show on TV anymore.....

I am grateful i recorded the last 2 years of jim.  I ask one thing.... from all true Jim Fans.... lets make his DVD SOLD OUT!! Give the motivation for the rest of the seasons.... Admit it... a 6 season run is real good for any new shows.... I myself will shell out good money for a DVD season of jim....

Well. Like i said.... Dont knwo much.... Jsut thought we should focus on buying his DVD's... Sorry....Bye.

I don't know the ratings of Sabrina(It lasted longer than According To Jim) but it recently had DVDs released.

The series ended in 2003 and there were no signs of a DVD release.

In otherwords, there may be a chance for some ABC series to get released to DVD after a long time.

It's currently in syndication. Why buy when you can see reruns for free?
