Jim proves himself as a stupid cheapstake who lacks mortals. Cheryl hires a nanny, and Jim gets paranoid and overprotective of his money. Thus, he bigs a nanny-cam to get one over his wife (protecting the kids is secondary). He learns Cheryl has a secret stash of money, and decides to torture her. Cheryl, suspecting the nanny from stealing from her secret stash, decides to buy a nanny-cam to prove Jim wrong (protecting the kids, once again, is secondary). At the end, Jim admits to hate knowing things; perhaps because his brain is the size of a dime. They make the perfect couple, since not many would be able to withstand their selfish and traitorous personalities.
