  • Trivia

    • The results of the three possible futures were:
      1. Kyle hiding in the cabinet under the stairs and needing a tee for everything.
      2. Kyle becoming a human pinata because he thinks getting hit leads to success.
      3. Kyle becoming a killer because he thought success came from hurting others.

    • Jim Belushi's son, Robert Belushi plays grown-up Kyle in this episode.

    • This episode is a lot like the movie "The Butterfly Effect". Like Ashton Kutcher's character in the movie, every time Jim makes a little change it makes a big effect in each time era.

  • Quotes

    • Andy: Why did God make something so bad taste so good?
Jim: Why don't you ask him?
      Andy: We're not speaking.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • When Kyle continuously fails to make contact with the ball while practicing with Jim. Jim concludes that he could "play for the Cubs". He is referring to the Chicago Cubs and their well-known status as "loveable losers" who have not won a World Series since 1908 and in the season before this episode aired had the third worst record in the major leagues (out of 30 teams).

    • In the third possible future, they allude to the Godfather with Jim playing Don Corleone.
