"Poor"

According To Jim definitely qualifies as one of the funniest shows ever, but this episode in particular has me wincing. I'm not fond of any episode of any series that attacks its own characters and this one is merciless. Jim discovers that his pact with the devil allowed him to sacrifice the soul of his fifth child - which in itself is a horrible contrivance. James Lipton is good casting to play the devil, but where it falls apart for me is the "waking up" of Andy and Dana and their sudden increased hatred of Jim. Why are they affected by the pact? Another thing, where are Jim's daughters in this episode? Ruby and Gracie don't even appear. Another thing I'm not fond of: Cheryl has boys. Jim has been always been funnier where it pertained to having daughters so giving him two boys over girls stabs any more humor potential. It possibly doesn't matter. This episode was meant to wrap the show and I couldn't take two boys jumping ahead to three like Kyle did.moreless
